[Theory] Natsu is the Death Dragon Slayer, God Slayers are born with that magic.

I am here to tell you of this theory my friend made. Isn't Zeref somewhat considered a God? Natsu is expected to kill Zeref and yet, Zeref has not expected this from anyone else...? Perhaps, because Natsu is the Death God Slayer. Natsu is a first generation Dragon Slayer mean he was taught, but maybe he was already born with another magic? Such as Death God Slayer, it would make more sense if God Slayer is given by birth. Since, it's a God, instead of bothering to teach you could instantly receive it. Proof of this, is how God Slayers have never spoken about being taught it or even talked about an unknown individual. Discuss this theory and try to find flaws with this theory.

I some what agree with you, but I have a feeling that Igneel is going to be involved in Natsu killing Zeref. I just hope that we learn why the dragons left in the first place.

you'd think that right? thats what i thought and then natsu just swallows up amaterasu and beats the fire god slayer. the manga has no logic and the fights are a joke but i just can't seem to stop reading

This is baseless on all levels. Zancrow learned his magic from Purehito and Shelia learned it from a book one of the chairmans gave her. It's a type of magic as any other. So all the stuff of being born with it can be disregarded.

Secondly the people who consider Zeref as a 'god', are mainly demons and people who want to 'resurrect' him. Everyone else just talks about dark mage Zeref. The Grimoire Heart members also saw Purehito as a god and still he got his ass whooped.

Also so far most god slayers were beaten by dragon slayers, that whole 'god slaying' is nothing more than a name.
