This is the last tech I learned

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

Okay so this technique can only work on an already moving target, one you insert your chakra into their brain, they will think they are moving in a straight line, but really they are going in circles, this gen will make them move all the time, and if you are able to pull this off, the target will be exhausted in a few short hours. Range is neat too.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Causes Tiredness or Fatigue
  • 2. Leaves opponent vulnerable
  • 3. Due to the opponent thinking they are move forward normally it, It would be hard for them to figure out that it is a genjutsu without any external abilities or forces.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. It is a low rank so if the opponent figures out it is a genjutsu there isn't much needed to dispel it.
  • 2. The opponent would eventually notice that they are forever advancing and figure out the genjutsu
  • 3. *has no idea*
How you would use it in battle: I would use it as a quick interruption between a chain of attacks that an opponent planned for me. For instance, If they are going for a 3 elemental combo(Wind,Fire,Earth), I can use this genjutsu to interrupt their first jutsu, which would give me enough time to prepare myself or attack the enemy.
How you would counter it: Like I stated in one of the disadvantages, the fact that I would be advancing forward for a long time and cannot reach my goal would tip me off that I was in a genjutsu. Also within the genjutsu, the person affected(me) cannot change directions of movement. I would then use kai or freeform to break myself out of the genjutsu.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): As the opponent advances towards me, I release chakra from my body and insert it into the mind and chakra pathways of the enemy. This would disrupt their chakra flow and cause an illusion to form. In this illusion, the opponent is moving forward at a constant rate, not being able to slow down nor pick up speed. In Reality, the opponent is walking in circles getting more and more tired by the minute.

Good.

(Genjutsu: Jinmon) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

Okay this technique only works on non-moving targets they either have to be standing still [which is unlikely] or you have trapped them down somehow, then by using touch you have placed them in a genjutsu, this gen convinces them to give out information they usually wouldn't. But, this technique only works on ninja that are two ranks lower then you, the caster.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Allows you to gain information
  • 2. ?
  • 3. ?
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Can only be used on a stationary opponent
  • 2.Can only be used on someone two ranks lower than me
  • 3. Can only be activated by touching the opponent.
How you would use it in battle:I would first have to trap the user and make them paralyzed through a lightning technique. Then I would have to touch them and perform the technique
How you would counter it: I would counter the technique by staying out of range from the opponent. Even if we get into a CQC situation I will have to keep movement so that the genjutsu wont work.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I place my hand on the opponents head and inject chakra into their chakra system. This allows the user to tap into the deepest part of subconscious and cause the opponent to blurt out any information I may need.

Yeah, it's not one of the more used techniques, cause it isn't the best.

(Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

Just by looking at my clone, you will place him in this genjutsu, but of course you need insert your chakra into his brain, this technique makes the clone believe they are seeing a big ball of fire coming from the sky, this technique can be used in a lot of different situations. Example, you could cast this, and then use a water technique, or something along those lines, the range is good for a low rank, and for genjutsu in general.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Causes the opponent to go try to counter against the fireball possibly wasting their chakra
  • 2. I just have to look at the clone/person to have this genjutsu activate
  • 3. Could induce a certain level of fear or anxiety.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Weak rank so it is easy to break
  • 2. The opponent still has control over their body
  • 3. The opponent could possibly notice their surroundings.
How you would use it in battle: I would use this jutsu as a starting move so I can distract the opponent allowing me to chain combos together
How you would counter it: I would counter this by first trying to defend against the fireball with a water jutsu. Since this is an illusion the water should just travel through the fireball. This would allow me to know if its a genjutsu and freeform my way out of it with a kunai of some sort.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I look at my opponent while focusing chakra into their brain to disrupt their chakra system. Immediately a giant fireball is formed above the opponent getting ready to crash into them.

More detail on the "How you perform it" section, please.

(Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

With this one, look at your target; thus inserting your chakra into there brain, the target will see a clone run towards them, the clone explodes in a cloud of cherry blossoms, which in the end confuse the target, I can see this being a very obvious genjutsu, personally. There is no technique besides this and a few other genjutsu techniques, that use this method. But, I guess the good thing about this technique is that it does leave them open to an attack, and the range is good.

Hi hi ^^

Please just use Nathan's template one more time, then we'll continue in a more informal RP fashion :)
One/three advantages:
  • 1. It provides an opening for an attack
  • 2. It has decent range on it.
  • 3. ?
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. It's an obvious genjutsu
  • 2. Low ranking so its easy to break out of it.
  • 3. The opponent could probably cancel the genjutsu before the clone reaches them.
How you would use it in battle: I'd use it in battle in the middle of a combo to throw the opponent off their game. Use it in the middle of an earth/lightning combo.
How you would counter it:I'd counter it probably and realistically when the clone explodes into cherry blossoms without it causing damage to me. At that point, I'd release it using freeform or Kai.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I focus my eyes on my opponent and insert chakra into their system. A clone rushes towards my opponent and within range explodes into a large cloud of cherry blossoms.

Thanks! My training method is more RP based and straightforward. Hope you enjoy! Otherwise, let me know if you have questions, etc.

, hiding in a tree while watching her new student analyze and perform the previous genjutsu, jumps down and introduces herself.

"Yo. Ryuko. I'm taking over this training. We cool?"

She was super blunt as she comically kicked the previous sensei with a FALCON KICK! out of the way.

"I'm sure you know all the basics, because you don't look stupid. I'll be performing the illusions on ya, so figure them out, break out of it, and give me your thoughts on the technique afterward. Ask questions too."

"Got all that?"

Without waiting for her student's answer, Ryuko weaved three handseals and placed her student under a Genjutsu. The forested clearing they were standing in suddenly turned in a flat grassland. Should the student dispel the first illusion, the second illusion would take place, turning the grassland into a barren desert. It was a simple double-layered technique, so Ryuko chose not to do anything too advanced, instead using it as an example.

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

Tayuya looks at her new sensei and doesn't mind his presence.

"Yeah, we cool."

Tayuya listened to Ryuko's instruction and tried to ask a question.

"..Uh wai-"

Her surroundings changed immediately. The forest that encompassed them turned into a flat grassland in the blink of an eye. Tayuya knew this was an obvious genjutsu and didn't think much of it. She brought her hands together and injected chakra throughout her body to break out of the genjutsu.

"Kai!"

( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

The green land before her faded. The grass died. The ground all around her turning into sand. Tayuya's eyes widened with surprise as she thought she had released the genjutsu. The first instinct that came to mind was to use the Kai technique again to release the genjutsu, but due to the precise chakra control it took she couldn't use it back after back. She decided to use more basic ways of releasing genjutsu, pain. She bit the inside of her cheek and the desert faded returning her to the forest she was standing it.

"What the **** was that?!" She said while holding her cheek.

(The bio I'm using is female)

"That was a genjutsu, obviously. That one's pretty cool... you can figure out some devilish ways to use it."

Yawning a little, Ryuko pulled out a small red object that looked like half of a scissor blade. Twirling it a little, it unfolded and expanded, taking the size of a usable sword.

(Image is in my bio link :) )

"Next!"

Moving quickly, Ryuko swung her newly-formed weapon back and forth in a fluid motion, hypnotizing Tayuya to fall under a new illusion. This time, Ryuko would look like she grew multiple arms, looking almost like a spider, confusing her and disrupting her chakra.

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

As Ryuko waves her sword, multiple arms form in front of Tayuya, waving back and forth like a willow tree. Kind of reminded her of a spider. Tayuya hated spiders. She barely liked Kidomaru for it. The 4 armed freak. She shivers in the thought of him. Anyway, Tayuya released the genjutsu once again by restoring her normal chakra flow.

I don't like that one. >_>

"No one does. Genjutsu's pretty icky, honestly."

"Here are the next two illusions. Questions?

Ryuko reveals the jutsu scroll, unraveling it a little to present it to Tayuya.

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

Ok, so that was an illusion used by Kurenai or used ON her, I believe. Either way... it's the same as any other genjutsu, just with different effects. Honestly, I don't see any usage for it... maybe if you had a wood bio, you could try and fool your opponent into thinking it was part of a Mokuton technique... but I don't know, I'm no genjutsu master, I'm just here for the free food! :T_T:

*regains self-composure*

-cough- uhhh...

Next two. The first one was used by Kurenai (again) to restrain Itachi back in Part 1. What you should do is just find an image or video clip showing the illusion in action, and ask questions if you have any, obviously.

The second one's a good one to use alongside snake summons, fooling the opponent into believing they're being trapped by your summons instead of an illusion. If you were captured by this illusion, how would you use your senses to break out of it, you think?

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

I like the first one seems fun to use.

For the second one luckily I do have the snake summon...on my Medusa bio anyway. Using my senses to break the second one I would have to use the fact that not many people can make snakes just "appear" underneath me. First reaction would be to destroy the snakes before the wrap around me also.

Last B-rank. Super straightforward. Any questions?

( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.
