Did you know that nas was only 18-19 years old when he wrote his first full length album titled "Illmatic" the album is considered to this day a top 5 album by hip hop heads around the world and nas was not even a fully grown man when he wrote it. Its truly inspiring considering that it was from 1994, and i was only a year old, I'm 19 now and its incredible listening to that album and seeing how advanced his technique was at such a young age. MY favorite tracks off of illmatic would have to be tracks 9 " represent" some of premo's greatest production work imho, the sample he dug was crazy from a 1930's play soundtrack, then i'd have to go with track 10 "it aint hard to tell". then probably track 4 " the world is yours" (self explanatory). then probably Track 2 "NY state of mind"//// and a tie in equal greatness for the rest of the tracks. Shit i first discovered nas thanks to the help of my brother back in 06 when i got into 7th grade and im still bumpin to this day. Nas heads represent.
