yea monthly fee would ruin it...thats why i never bought DC universe..even though now its free (as of October) i stil won't buy i because they were mean enough to charge in the first place

Agreed. If you don't get in on the ground floor with all the people who are willing or capable to pay teh monthly fee it just seems like you are always playing catch up.
