and one more thing, obito's[unless he is not planning sth. else] and madara's way of peace is the only way to achieve peace because there is no such thing as true peace.
There's no need trying to change him, Obito is probably the most passionate character in the story- but Naruto never gave Obito's side of the story a chance and his simple brain didn't even try to process the moral conflict going on, I promise you that Naruto does not know what the Moon Eye Plan will entail and that the user dies with the jutsu, he never even tries to ask and just keeps hitting things with rasengans and later, bigger rasengans.Naruto is the type of guy who would still want to change Obito I think.
Didnt he want to learn of Obito's resolve? I think he asked Obito in the past, but Obito went like ''I am nobody, it doenst matter who I am'' didnt he? Or at some later point in time.
Calling Obito evil does show that Naruto still has some growing up to do in that part, that I can agree, however, even a great mind like Shukaku's father mentioned to Naruto, to not bother with trying to change Obito.
Sorry, I still see nothing wrong with Obito's way. The end result is literally the perfect answer and it's ridiculously easy to achieve if there weren't these idiots in the way.
Naruto acts like some prophet peacefighter striving for peace but he only learnt of peace in the last year. Much stronger and smarter ninja like Hanzo, Hashirama & Pain aimed for the same goal and failed. It's the fact that Naruto's goal is just unrealistic, he has no idea the peace conflict going on in this fight- he just sees a massive bad guy and is just throwing everything he has at it.
He shows no interest in learning of Obito's resolve and immediately declares him as 'evil' I forget the quote but when told about the moon eye plan's actual final goal Naruto just says something like "IM NOT GONNA BE STUCK IN SOME LAME ILLUSION!" He's thick. And if he is the one who restores peace to the ninja world, he doesn't deserve it.
This just occurred to me while reading the responses to this thread - what if the answer to peace in the Naruto world is Naruto and Sasuke working together and complementing each other's styles? Because a measure of both is needed in reality. This seems like a possible ending to the manga to me now that I think about it...
RINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :cobito is that you?
Naruto's is the most unrealistic way. Obito's way is plausible but Sasuke's is the most applicable. I think Sasuke's interpretation of peace is similar to Nagato's way of thinking prior to his change of heart.

It's a shonen fight anime, I don't really ask for much more but the fact that Kishi is trying to be all smart and bring in the 'way to peace' theme really annoys me if he's not at least going to do it right. Naruto's plan to peace is to defeat all evil with his friends without anyone getting hurt right? There's not one time Naruto has fought a wide scale battle with others involved and nobody got hurt. Toads got seriously hurt. Neji died. Hinata, Kakashi & lots of people in Konoha got murdered. There is going to be more and clearly that stupidly optimistic mindset has been proven to not be applicable to the real world or even the Narutoverse :') Naruto will end up like Hanzo if he keeps aiming for this 'American Dream' utopia
lol i am freaking Obito fan,but he doesnt even deserve a chance seriously no matter what his goals are eternal peace and shit, the guy has been on a murdering rampage since the day Rin died,he is scam the end.
He killed Torune to see how Edo tensei worked. He could have used a zetsu clone instead of Foo and he could have made Kabuto summon someone else instead of Torune.Yeah you're right, Obito killed the jinchuuriki specifically just because he was mad and wanted to let off some steam. Sure.
Obito became corrupted and sick of life but can you blame him? He was sick of the bastardised ninja world they live in, that way of thinking can't seem unreasonable. Naruto had no idea what his endgoal was, Obito never killed anyone out of spite other than the jonin who kidnapped Rin, everyone after that shock moment was a threat to his plan or a smart, predetermined move to achieve his goal.
