[Theory] NARUTO's unlimited sage mode...

It has been discussed that in order to maintain sage mode, you need friends to protect you in battle while you gather energy...

my theory is that Naruto will not need anyone once he realizes his capacity on how to gain unlimited access to sage mode during battle, no need for kuchiyose or whatsoever...

two things: kagebunshin and henge no jutsu...

while in battle naruto can let one or two of his bunshins replicate a rock...

do you guys still remember the pain battle where every bunshin pretended as a rock? the timing was impeccable...and Naruto has clearly won almost every battle using basic ninja techniques and unlimited chakra resource...he just fights the ninjas while they run out of chakra and then he eats them alive....

at rock state while maintaining henge, one or two bunshins can gather natural energy...its quite tricky but when he masters it...he can kick ass whenever he wants to...

But do you think after clones are transformed they can still behave normally as if they were in their normal clone forms?

This definitely something to look into.

Come to think of it shadow clones haven't actually really be explained what chakra manipulation it is or even transformation jutsu.

I wonder if these have anything to with yin-Yang manipulation.

The amount of sage chakra is relative to the users total chakra, now that naruto has a seeemingly infinite chakra with the addition of full kyuubi contro I would say his sage mode chakra is at least as much as his base chakra used to be, if not more, so without this technique I think he would never have to worry about running out of sage chakra.

definitely, clones can do their own stuff after all, as long as they're not too many to distract the original, naruto would really benefit on this - henge transform while gathering natural energy then poof...back to the original...

sage chakra can only be unlocked when the user has enormous chakra...its not relative, the user MUST balance the natural energy with his own chakra source...by the way the kyuubi chakra is not an infinite chakra source...as a matter of fact the fourth hokage sealed about half of the ninetails chakra into naruto...

do not forget that naruto's strongest technique is the ultimate shape manipulation and element manipulation combined...this consumes chakra like crazy...how much more if he uses new stuff? like chakra speed boost and so...

By the looks of it, specially against madara whom naruto should attack consecutively...he will definitely need more chakra soon...its like money, the more you have, the more you use it for spending...

kyuubi mode even makes more things better...until he looses much chakra he can use sage mode again since its less tiring...nice nice nice...

Hmm, can the clones meditate while in the form of some inanimate object? I am not so sure..so until we see it happen in the manga i would have to disagree. Not only that, I don't think Naruto has to have the clones in some far away place and summon them to him for this strategy to work, he only did it in the fight against Pain because he had to leave in a hurry and it was the best option for him, he was going straight into battle at the time and didn't have much time to prepare.

that's quite possible. it's also a brilliant trap against most users too, but i think the sharingan and byakugan see the chakra network, so they won't be fooled.

in addition, that has the limitation of reducing the number of bunshin naruto can use in battle to 3.

a better way is to become friends with the kyuubi, and he won't interfere while ma and pa are gathering sage energy. that means he can sustain sm indefinitely and make as many sm clones as he wants.

The only reason he can't move while collecting Sage chakra is because it takes a tremendous amount of concentration..

hmmm, maybe it would not be possible not unless he teams up with ma and pa so that we can see them gathering, because the base point of nature energy is to sit still while you gather...anyway, it's possible for naruto nowadays since he's clones can even go from KM to SM without interfering other clones in battle as what we have seen when one of the clones turn into SM against 3rd raikage...

here's the problem with the kyuubi being his partner. Kurama has to learn to sit still and learn to use sage mode. You'd have a better chance to use his chakra and add natural energy.

reps to this theory it could work but it wouldn't be intimate. Clones can only transfer there sage mode to the original. This method is a nice way to get clones on the battle feild so they know when to disperse.

sage mode can be used by anyone who can find the balance between their chakra and nature chakra, its just that someone with little chakra(kakashi for example) wouldnt see a big improvement from sage mode as it would be like 1+1=2 as opposed to narutos 1million+1million= 2 million.

Also the ninetails DOES feesibly have infinite chakra, the chakra will replenish over time like a normal ninjas would. Granted when talking about sage mode, its a non issue because its been clearly stated sage mode and kyuubi chakra wont mix, my assumption is because the kyuubi isnt a natural being(a fraction of the 10 tails) so it just doesnt work with nature chakra

The list goes on and on. Point being is, it's too risky that the clones would get caught in the crossfire even accidentally due to being an inanimate object that they would be particularly useful.

As I recall, Naruto actually destroyed his second sage mode clone when he was in Kyuubi mode against the last path of Pain, so it would be a waste. The thing is, Naruto enters sage mode so quickly now, and he's learned to prolong it that issue is minimized. Then, if there ever is fusion, the issue may become moot. In the meantime...

Alternatively, Naruto's clones are so robust that he could easily generate one 5-10% KM clone that's been shown to take on ET Kages and get free refills from the Kyuubi to protect another clone or set there of at distant location safe from destructive jutsu, so then all he has to do is release the jutsu on clones that have gathered nature chakra, base Naruto collects the nature chakra, and has another clone replace the one he released. That's basically an industrial revolution era factory line assembly for gathering nature chakra with built in heavy duty security, lol.

Now that Naruto is getting free refills from the Kyuubi, it's not a big deal to take a little off the top for protection. Then there's no need to rely on trickery, which isn't going to keep working repeatedly in a fight, especially against a smart doujutsu user that can see chakra. One will only fall for the same trick so many times at this level; otherwise, it's just flat out disappointing.
