250+ chapters ago he has a 3 adding 1 or 1.5 is not much considering he outsmart tobi and he is already above average.

He hasn't outsmarted Tobi at All.

All he has Done is Overpower him.

If I have to compare him to Sasuke(which I really don't want to do for certain reasons but I have to since they are rivals) then he isn't that smart in battle. He does always find a way to trick his opponents though. Sasuke on the other hand just goes from plan A to plan B. He tricked Danzo into revealing his secret on Izanagi which was smart. One thing that gives me mixed feelings about Naruto is his battle with Edo Nagato. It's just a shame that he could be that stupid.

Yes I agree with you all shin obi are trained to get out of a bad situation, but his particularly was ingenious... leaving a clone inside to help push the stake out, not many would think that way...

Let's not forget that Nagato as an Edo was a lot stronger than when Naruto fought him in Konoha. That alone would be enough to surprise anyone, no matter how prepared.

No thats way to High, Naruto Intelligence wise is extremely average.

A) How is his thinking too straight forward? Every time he's been faced with an impasse, he's been able to quickly and successfully develop a strategy to counter it.

B) This is untrue. Naruto has demonstrated on countless occasions that he is a capable strategist. He only goes straight forward when he doesn't know what an enemy can do; what better way to figure it out? I think the acting first is part of his strategy.

C) In overall intelligence, yes, he is average. In battle, he absolutely deserves at least a 4, and that's what these statistics reference.

Remember when turned one of the Pain's into stone? He was still stuck, and Pain had this look like... "Is this guy serious?".

Plus if you go to the next page of the manga you posted, he says to Nagato, "you gotta teach me how to do that..." Showing he clearly isn't going all out like he would with a real battle, he isn't even being serious, which we all know is when he truly shines

A)Naruto's only thought Process is Getting his rasengan Into his opponents Face.

b) Also That is the reason why he gets into Bad situations, If you dont know your opponents Abilities you Sit back on the defensive and analyze Their jutsu's (Like sasuke did Vs deidara)

At the time the Databooks stated sasuke only had 3.5 in intelligence, Yet he Had Far more Feats in that Fight than naruto Has ever had.

Naruto's analytical skills in Combat are piss Poor when you compare them to people Like Sasuke.

Take The Nagato fight for example, It was Itachi's First time Seeing CT, he found its weakness right away, It was Naruto's second time and he still had no answers for it.
