Naruto's Second Element is Wind

My theory is that Wind is Naruto's SECOND nature element... here is my train of thought...

1. Naruto is son of the Minato. Minato was a genious, and in Jiraiya's words "one that comes around once every several generations.
2. Naruto was slow learning any type of technique. We later learn that the Kyuubi's influence was a disturbance inside of Naruto, preventing him from controlling his chakra.

Given the above 2 statements...

1. Naruto learned Wind manipulation over the equivelant of about 2 or 3 years with Shadow Clone training. This length of time is what it takes for other ninja to learn their 2nd Nature Element.
2. Naruto has genious in his blood, along with the given affinity for Water Element from his mother. So why Wind... and why the long period of time needed to master Wind?

Given the above 2 statements... lets look at the Kyuubi again.
1. The Kyuubi is of a Fire nature. IE "The Wind Burns"
2. Naruto is able to withstand and hold back the Kyuubi's chakra (of a Fire nature) extremely well... according to Kakashi. But how? Why?

Given the above 2 statements... this is why...
1. Naruto's PRIMARY element is Water! The water nature chakra is what "extinguishes" the Fire nature of the Kyuubi, and balances it out. This is the only logical conclusion I can make, based on the information we have at this time, without making another illogical theory.
2. This internal battle between Naruto's Water element and the Kyuubi's Fire element, is how Naruto is able to overcome the Kyuubi's chakra, unconsciously.
3. This is why Wind was able to come to the foreground, infront of Water. Naruto's Water nature is sooooo burdened by the Kyuubi, that it becomes a secondary affinity.
4. When Naruto battles underwater... he is able to move at incredible speeds. Faster than any normal ninja. This is his subconcious affinity for water coming to the surface.

Naruto at this point has only focused on Wind, because that is why the chakra paper showed his affinity to be. However, as he gains the power to control the Kyuubi, the easier it will be to manipulate Water nature element. I am not saying Naruto would have an easier time training with Water... just the opposite, because of the Kyuubi's influence. However, I do believe that learning Water element could enhance his ability to control the Kyuubi... it would go hand in hand...

Well thats it... any ideas?

Naruto's #2 = Wind... Because it took him forever to master, in Mass Shadow Clone Years...

Naruto can't use fire... its the Kyuubi's element affinity... if Naruto in the Kyuubi Cloak touched the paper... it would burn... period... otherwise it would tear...

Learning wind element did take long however so would any other element doing element training takes alot of skill and time thanks to the shadowclones it didnt take as long to learn.

I like your Idea though about Water being his primary or even secondary element. The Nine tails fire element enhanced with Narutos wind element would strengthen the ninetails fire making the water harder to come out.

if naruto rely on the kyubii's fire element then he must have another element that can chain the elements of wind and water. Since he is a sage master, Pa said that sage controls nature, Naruto can have earth element.

Well Sorry to say.. but the answer is NO

The thing that is holding kyuubi inside Naruto is not Naruto's Water or wind element chakra... It is the 4ths very powerful shiki fuujin seal... What Naruto's chakra does is hold off that seal... Like when kakashi sealed sasuke's curse mark kakashi said that it uses ur will to hold off the curse mark.. meaning ur chakra.. so whn sasuke's own chakra is finished.. the seal breaks.. thus spillin out curse seal chakra... Now same case is Naruto... when his own chakra is finished or exhausted as was during his training with jiraiya.. the seal breaks a little and kyuubi chakra leaks out.. and so he used kyuubi chakra to summon gamabunta... well in cases of extreme emotion the seal breaks too and kyuubi chakra leaks out and also the seal is said to be weakening too but thats a whole diff story..

As for the nature element fact.. Your chakra only shows affinity to One element kind.. the other elementals are contained in really small quantity... with extreme training u have to bring them out and can use them in battle.. however your strongest jutsu will always be for the elemental affinity you are most inclined too.. Like in case of Kakashi.. his strongest jutsu element wise is chidori (just count of his MS kamui for now)... the other element jutsus wont b as strong but can still b used (not to mention Sharingan helps too) So in case of Naruto... his chakra shows affinity for "Wind" only.. and his strongest jutsu is FRS as we all knw... thr is not even slightest evidence of water as yet..

Plus Kyuubi's chakra is fire element based.. whr does it say that in Manga.. help me here.. I forgot if it was in any of the chapterss.. Even if it was I don't think even Naruto's water element cud compress it if he had any.. Not even that any elemental type.. be it wind, water, fire, lightning or earth.. I dont think any of those elements will have any effect on Kyuubi.. the sword of tsunagi oro used and now sasuke uses.. wich can cut through anything.. was not able to pierce kyuubi.. kyuubi powers are not fully knwn yet but m sure they r quite extraordinary and are most likely invunreable to chakra elements..

The fact we always see water when Naruto is inside his inner self... once dripping from a pipe.

Water surrounds the seal and cage of the Kyuubi...

I always thought it was his hidden Kekkei Genkai... helping Naruto.

Is it possible to have two affinity? Sasuke has Fire and Lighting... Fire an element he got from his bloodline "as all Uchiha's must master fire jutsu"...

Maybe if wind was Naruto's affinity as the paper stated (like lighting to Sasuke)... then his water element would come from his bloodline... I really liked the part about how the water is being used to cancel out the fire... the Seal protects and allows him to use the Kyuubi's chakra maybe the water helps Naruto by balancing out the Kyuubi's fire hence protecting him...

If it was an affinity that paper would have picked it up... even if it was used to balancing out the Kyuubi's fire... where a Kekkei Genkai would still remind hidden because it was constantly/ or not fighting against the Kyuubi's fire

If water was to be his next element maybe it would be a Kekkei Genkai been able to relax now that Naruto has more control over his seal...

But saying all this shouldn't in Sage Mode Naruto be able to use any element he wants too?????? He can sense chakra level and tell who's chakra that is... he should be able to control any element he wishes...

The ability to control two elements simultaneously and create a new element to manipulate.. Thats whats called kekke genkai.. aka Bloodline limit.. word to word as explained by kakashi in chapter 316.. pgs 7 & 8...

Like Yamato combines earth and water.. to create wood.. most likely 1st hokage's ability originally..
So if Naruto did have a kekke genkai of wind and water... It wud be ice.. same as haku..

Uchiha's have fire and lightning.. this gives them the ability of Sharingan.. thats what I speculate but it is debatable.. not sure.. but thts bloodline limit I think.. since sasuke had affinity for those 2 elements to begin with..

Same can be said of byakugan too m sure.. donno wat their combo is..

I think people think the Kyuubi's Chakra if fire because it burns Naruto's flesh... it has not ever stated the Kyuubis Chakra is Fire as such... but has the burning effect that fire has... plus the Kyuubi's chakra looks fire like...

I don't think the seal breaks every time Naruto uses the Kyuubi's chakra... as the seal was designed to allow Naruto to use the Kyuubi's chakra at his will... its only broken once when fighting Pain and Naruto got to meet his Father for the first time... remember J-man played locksmith with Naruto seal hence why he went 4tails and ripped shit up... more Kyuubi's chakra was flowing out then Naruto chakra could handle...


As for water... its every where inside Naruto's inner being... surrounds the cage of the Kyuubi... the water could be helping Naruto in some way...

Well actually the seal was designed so that some of kyuubi's chakra keeps leaking into Naruto's own.. as ws explained by Jiraiya.. giving him the incredible stamina he has.. So when i said breaks meaning the leak getting bigger.. caz of weakening or exhaustion of naruto's own chakra

Actually now that u say it.. I was thinking may be Kekke Genkai Might just be thing needed to control Kyuubi's chakra eventually.. Like Sharingan is a bloodline limit and only really powerful Uchiha's have a chance of controling the kyuubi with their Sharingan.. Only Madara has been knwn to do so.. So u might need to have a powerful genkai to control kyuubi
So may be when time comes for Naruto.. his own bloodline limit.. watever it is.. might be revealed and help him to control 9 tails chakra eventually.. now pps don't kill me on this.. it is just a thought

Bro you jumping the gun here... every thing you said is true but your talking about a third element here which would be a Kekkei Genkai... if combined with two other elements...

Like you said Uchiha's have fire... all must have... but as for lighting... I don't think all Uchiha's would have it...

Like Uchiha have Fire... Uzumaki might have Water...

Haku's was wind and water and his Kekkei Genkai was Ice element... Haku could use the bloodline limit of "Hyou-ton" or "Hyouton" that's why he had Ice...

Just speculating but couldn't Naruto Wind and Water Kekkei Genkai make Hurricanes or whirlpools... him being an Uzumaki...


Plus the Kekkei Genkai would be forced to stay hidden as it was battling with the Kyuubi, helping Naruto's chakra to control it...

He can surely use a water tech if he had afiinity for it.. n then use wind on it to make it stronger... to create hurricanes or watever like u said.. like kakuzu used diff elemental combos against kakashi... but if he combines wind and water.. then uses it as one element.. like yamato(earth n water) or haku.. it surely will b an ice jutsu then

well you dont now it mite differ with the amount of wind and water like this:
haku:
uses 10 of water chakra
uses 5 of wind chakra
making ice since ice is cold water

while
uzumaki
uses 10 of wind chakra
uses 5 of water chakra
making hurricanes and wirlpools since in that its more water in movement that needs more wind for it to happen
