Naruto's Fall Inside The Black
Chapter 2
Waking up after a dreadful night, Naruto slowly opens his eyes and locks on to a person sitting in his bed, reading a book, and staring directly at him.
Naruto: "K-Kakashi Sensei?! What are you doing in my house? What are you doing in my bed?!"
Kakashi: "Hey. I was just hanging around. Naruto, what happened last night?"
Naruto: "What do you mean what happened? Nothing happened! I slept awesome last night!"
Kakashi: "Is that why I heard you screaming last night? You sounded as if you were being tortured."
Naruto: "Wait! How do you know I was screaming?"
Kakashi: "I heard you of course. From the window."
Naruto: "You were spying on me?! I know you're creepy, but c'mon!"
Kakashi: "Naruto....Hinata-chan sent me. She was worried about you."
Naruto: "Then you know then.....don't you?"
Kakashi: "Yeah. Her theory about you being under a genjutsu is true. I noticed that your chakra flow was irregular.....but that wasn't what caught my attention."
Naruto: "What was it then?"
Kakashi: "The Kyuubi's chakra was also irregular. Although the kyuubi is inside of you, and you have mastered, you both still have sperate chakra unless you choose to use some of it's power. Obviously, you couldn't because you were asleep. This means that someone powerful is casting this genjutsu. Naruto, listen to me today I don't want you training. I think it'd be best for you if you went out and stayed with Kurenai until I get back from my mission with Sakura and Sai. I would suggest Yamato, but he's busy helping out the new Anbu recruits. Plus, Kurenai's prettier don't you agree?"
(Kakashi winks at Naruto, but Naruto just stares down at his bed, tired and worried.)
Kakashi: "Do you want to tell me what occurred in the genjutsu? The more information, they easier it will be to close in on the caster."
Naruto: "It was just a normal genjutsu......Nothing special....Just a genjutsu......"
Mornings gives birth to the awakening of not only people, but plots....evil plots aswell. Nearby Amegakure, in Madara's base, Sasuke puts his sword away and falls to the ground as a disappointed Zetsu looks on.
Sasuke: "*Pant* "Pant* How was....that?"
Zetsu: (White Half): "Better, but honestly, a genin could have done better."
*Madara walks in, as Sasuke looks on with anger*
Sasuke: "What...took you so long? I was up fighting all night."
Madara: "As I told you, I was busy with preparations."
Zetsu: (Black Half): "How did things go?"
Madara: "As planned."
Sasuke: "Madara....I think I'm ready to acquire....Itachi's eyes."
Madara: "I'll leave that answer up to Zetsu, despite knowing what it will be."
Zetsu: (White Half): "Honestly, I'd say he is far more deserving than he was during the beginning of yesterday's training....."
Zetsu: (Black Half): "But he has a very long way to go. Perhaps, we should just give you Itachi's eyes....Tobi."
Sasuke: "I told you.....NOT TO MENTION HIS NAME AGAIN!"
(Sasuke quickly dashes at Zetsu with his sword first, but Zetsu blocks the strike)
Zetsu: (White Half): "What do you want?"
Zetsu: (Black Half): "Maybe he wants to die!!"
(Zetsu pushes Sasuke off, separates the black and white halves, and lunges at Sasuke. However, Madara appears in front of Zetsu, stopping the attack.)
Madara: "Sasuke....consider this your lucky day. Zetsu would have easily killed you, if it wasn't for me. Zetsu, go check on the cloning process. The more the better."
Zetsu: (White Half): "Of course."
(Zetsu regroups his two halves, and teleports away by going through the ground.)
Sasuke: "Uchiha, Madara.....You need to stop acting like my superior. You aren't at my level in power."
Madara: "My knowledge and patient outways yours easily....But.....since you are so focused on fighting, then I recommended you fight someone. Perhaps, a spar with your superior?"
Sasuke: "You aren't my superior! You're a weak legend! You're nothing more than a disgrace to the Uchiha Clan! You-"
(Madara teleports to behind Sasuke, pulls out a kunai, and holds it to his neck, thus cutting Sasuke's sentence short.)
Madara: "I am Uchiha Madara! I am the REAL UCHIHA! The clan is a disgrace to me, not the reverse. You are the last Uchiha besides myself....the last of our pathetic clan.....the last disgraceful thing in my eyes. I will teach you how to be a Uchiha, a real one. Do you understand me?"
Sasuke: ".......Yes......"
Madara: "Good."
(Madara stabs Sasuke in the back, and pushes him down.)
Madara: "........"
(Madara stares at Sasuke's body, with his Sharingan eye closed, showing how the real Uchiha can't bear to look on such a disgrace.)
At the Konoha gate, Team Kakashi, aswell as Team Kurenai, is setting out for their respective missions while Naruto sends them off.
Sai: "Isn't Naruto coming, Sakura-chan?"
Sakura: "No. He has to stay with Kurenai Sensei due to his injuries."
Sai: "Injuries?"
Sakura: "I don't understand either, but it's Naruto, so there's really no chance we'll understand anything about him."
Kiba: "Hey, Hinata, hurry up! We have to get moving now if we want to get back here later instead od staying at some random house!"
Shino: "Naruto-kun, it was nice seeing you again."
Naruto: "You too Shino! And Kiba's right, Hinata! You guys gotta go! Especially if it means you'll be back tonight in time for our date!"
(Hinata blushes)
Hinata: "Y-yes! Bye Naruto-kun."
(Hinata kisses Naruto)
Sakura: "Get 'em tiger!"
Sai: "When did they start dating?"
Sakura: "I'll fill you in on the way there."
Naruto: "Bye Hinata.
Kiba: "Let's go!"
Hinata: "Bye Naruto-kun."
(Hinata and Naruto smile at each other, and Team Kurenai sets out. Kakashi walks up)
Kakashi: "Are you two ready?"
Sai: "Yes."
Sakura: "Yeah!"
Kakashi: "Well, Naruto, you know what to do. I'll see you later."
Naruto: "You got it Kakashi-Sensei!"
(Sakura hugs Naruto)
Sakura: "Be careful Naruto-kun. Oh and keep Hinata. I think she's a keeper."
(Sakura laughs and smiles)
Naruto: "Will do!"
(Sai walk up to Naruto, goes to hug him, and Naruto pushes him away)
Sai: "Was that the wrong approach?"
Naruto: "Yeah! Anyways....I'll see you later Sai!"
Sai: "Bye, Naruto-Kun."
Kakashi: "Team Kakashi out!"
(Kakashi motions the departure, and leaves as Naruto looks on.)
In the base of Madara, a bandaged Sasuke wanders to Zetsu, who is at the base of the building....where the clones are being produced.
Sasuke: "Zetsu! I have come to take my brother's eyes."
Zetsu: (Black Half): "Really now?"
Sasuke: "Yes. By force or by simply asking you, is up to you."
Zetsu: (White Half): "Hm....."
Zetsu: (Black Half): "Why do you want this power? Power is meaningless in the hands of wielder who lacks patience, especially one who is as arrogant as you are."
Sasuke: "Weak? Hmph. I'll show you weak!"
(Sasuke uses his chakra manipulation to turn a chidori into a blade and strikes Zetsu. Zetsu simply dodges the blade.)
Zetsu: (Black Half): "Force is the answer!"
(Sasuke activates his Mangekyou Sharingan as Zetsu lunges himself at him.)
In Konoha, Naruto is walking up a darkened ally while rain pours on his body, but he suddenly stops.
Naruto's thoughts: "What in the....I can't move! I'm paralyzed! Another genjutsu?! Already?!"
(Naruto watches as all buildings around him come ablaze and crumble in an allusion. Fear befalls his face as he looks deep into a shadow figure facing him from 10 meters away. The figure slowly turns around, and Naruto's face is in shock as he looks at Sasuke Uchiha.)
Naruto: "Sasuke!....Are you casting this!?"
(The figure Sasuke motions no and blood flows out of his eyes and mouth, covering his body, while a new person is formed. Sakura Haruno.)
Naruto: "Sakura-Chan! No, wait....stop...yourself. This is just a genjutsu."
(The Sakura figure motions no while turning to flowers and disappearing, but only to return and form two new figures. Kakashi Hatake and Hinata Hyuga.)
Naruto: "What is this?"
(The figures are suddenly dispersed and Naruto finds himself looking at the eyes of the kyuubi, the nine tailed fox)
Kyuubi: "Naruto, listen to me and get out of here quickly! You don't have long!"
Naruto: "What's going on?! Why are you scared?"
Kyuubi: "I'm not afraid. Listen you brat! Just leave Konoha now!"
Naruto: "Tell me what's going on!"
Kyuubi: "LEAVE NOW!!!!"
(The Kyuubi's eyes begin to turn into a three tomoe sharingan as Naruto looks on in confusion)
Controlled Kyuubi: "We need to talk."
Naruto: "Who are you?"
(Suddenly everything around Naruto vanishes and all Naruto can see is Jiraiya's dead body floating to the bottom of an ocean)
Naruto: "JIRAIYA!!!!!!!!"
(Jiraiya floats too deep and Naruto looses sight of him. As a result of this, Naruto begins to cry)
Naruto: ".....Jiraiya......."
Controlled Kyuubi's Voice: "Careness....and yet you still maintain discipline when you train. No arrogance....Naruto...I will be awaiting the next time we meet....Until then....."
(Naruto suddenly sees Konoha reform in front of him, as the Genjutsu is released. Tired, angry, sad, and confused, Naruto starts to run around Konoha, randomly and lost. He then remembers the Kyuubi's words-"Naruto, listen to me and leave here quickly! Leave Konoha now! NOW!!"-Naruto runs towards one of Konoha's gates and leaves the village as anger and tears fuel him.)
While returning to Konoha, Kakashi, Sakura, and Sai notice a worried and alone Hinata Hyuga.
Kakashi: "Hm? What's going on here? Sai, Sakura, follow me."
(Kakashi, Sakura, and Sai, all stop infront of Hinata.)
Sakura: "Hinata-Chan, what's wrong? Where's Naruto-Kun?"
(Hinata begins to cry a little)
Hinata: "I....I-I don't know! He's gone!"
Kakashi: "What do you mean he's gone? He should be with Kurenai."
Hinata: "She said he never showed! Naruto's nowhere to be found!"
Sakura: "Hinata-chan....calm down. We'll find Naruto-Kun."
Kakashi: "He's probably out wandering around. He never was too excited about looking after Kurenai anyways. He's lazy afterall. He is Naruto....Sakura, you and Sai, go talk to Kurenai. Hinata, stay with them until I return with Naruto."
Sai: "Okay."
(Kakashi heads out to find Naruto)
Kakashi's thought's: "Naruto....where are you? Hopefully....this doesn't involve the genjutsu....."
(After running for nearly an hour, and out of energy, Naruto stops and takes some rest. He falls to the ground, breathing heavily, and slowly looks up in horror as he see's a red Sharingan eye along with a Rinnegan eye staring at him.)
Madara: "Hello, Naruto."
