(hello! this is for my loyal fans and future fans! Took a look at my threads today and saw a lot of good responses! I will be posting chapters for all 3 of my fanfics. Chapter 9: Following Sasuke's path
When I next re-gained my consciousness, I couldn't see. I could feel the chakra seal tags over my eyes and multiple wrapped around me. My arms were suspended in the air by chains. The village has taken me hostage in my own home town.
The next thing I knew was the sound of a heavy metal door closing and somebody with high heels walking in.
"It is rather odd Naruto. I always thought you had a thing for Sakura," Tsunade said in a rather iritated voice.
"Let me go!" I screamed.
"Naruto, you are too precious to the village. You have one of the last sharingans and the only known rinnegan, plus the 9 tails inside you. We can't afford to lose you. Konan may have changed. Maybe she is good. It doesn't change the fact that she was once Akatsuki and that the treasure of Konohagakure should not be flattering the leader of a village whose current intentions are unkown,"
"It was not a request, It was a demand! Let me go!" I screamed, standing up and pulling against the chains. I could not pull forward without chakra to help me break them. I slumped back down.
"You are going to sit here until you have calmed down. I don't take orders from you Naruto," She said as she once again walked out of the room and the metal door slammed. The room was empty. I could tell because it was dead silent. I couldn't hear anything accept my own breathing. I suddenly felt something moving in my pocket. I was confused, and I could not see what it was. Eventually, it worked it's way out of my pocket. As it moved I could hear the sound of ruffleing paper. The next sound was paper folding. In a moment I felt something near my face. It began to pry the chakra seal tag off of my Rinnegan. I could see know that it was a piece of paper that had folded into a butterfly. It moved to my sharingan eye and riped the seal tag off. The piece of paper unfolded and inside was a note that read, "come find me."
The piece of paper folded into a shuriken and proceeded to cut of the seal tags that were on my body, before slipping itself back into my pocket. Five anbu black ops opened the door and walked in. They all held up weapons.
"Taking off those tags set off the alarm. I don't know how you did it, but you are getting a new set," one of them said, approaching me with a tag.
"Asura!" I screamed as my arms became mechanicle and I broke one chain and then the other. The anbu began to run at me and surround me. "Shinra tensei," I said and the anbu flew off in all directions. I ran out the door and up the stairs. Many anbu came to stop me. I absorbed their jutsu and repeled them as I continued to run. I realized I was in a bunker below the Hokage mansion as I broke through a wall and was on the first floor. I ran out the nearest exit.
My escape was suddenly stopped as I was surrounded by Ninja hounds.
"And where do you think you are going Naruto?" said Kakashi who had just appeared behind me.
"Kakashi sensei?"
"You are my student Naruto, and I respect that. But my first priority is too the village. I am under orders to restrain you by any means necesarry. I will not allow you to leave. You are strong Naruto. The Hokage recognizes that. Therefor all of the available ninja have been deployed to ensure you do not escape. We have been granted the use of lethal force, knowing that with your streangth, that should be enough to contain you without killing you," Kakashi said as he snapped his fingers. The hounds jumped and latched on to me with their teeth. I tried throwing them off. Kakashi prepared his lightning blade. "If I have to Naruto, I will cut off your legs to keep you from escaping. Tsunade can fix them later."
I watched his handsigns and I looked at the chakra with my rinnegan. I matched his handsigns and created an equal lightning blade in my hand. the dogs flew off from the voltage. He was surprised at first but came rushing at me. I used Asura jet propulsion and we colided. For a moment we were locked.
"Shinra Tensei!" I screamed as Kakashi Sensei flew back and struck his back hard against the wall. I took the chance to run. Only to feel a sharp pain in my leg as I fell to the ground. I looked up to see Neji, Tenten, Lee, and Guy sensei.
"That should stop you for a moment. The combined effort of closing off your chakra points and Guy sensei dislocating your knee should keep you down," Neji said as he looked at me with his byakugan active.
I struggled for a moment, but made handsigns. "Summoning jutsu!" I said as a massive smoke cloud appeared. I flew off on the back of the distorted rinnegan bird.
"Gate of Life open!" Guy sensei said as he made a massive jump into the air. I narrowly was out of his range. But I noticed that tied to his ancle was Lee's bandage. Guy swung his leg around in a leaf whirlwind and threw lee at me. His skin was red from using the gate of life. Lee landed on top of the bird, and struck it with a massive drop kick that nearly sent it out of the air.
"Summoning Jutsu!" I screamed as I slammed my hands onto the birds back and a massive Rhino flew at Lee. The beast slammed into Lee and they both flew off the bird. The Rhino disipeared in Mid air as Anko caught Lee.
I continued to fly out of range until I could barely see the village. Suddenly a massive rock struck my bird and we both fell out of the air. The bird disipeared as I flailed for my life. My fall was broken however, by the soft body of Katsuya. Tsunade stood on her head and Jumped down to me.
"I hope you are happy with what you are doing. If you leave this village, you will be considered a Missing Ninja! I can only do so much to help you. The Daimyo and other Kages will view you as a threat and you will be hunted down! Is that what you want? If you leave, you will never be Hokage. You will follow the same path as Sasuke," she said.
The last part struck a nerve in me. I could barely move and tears were flowing down my cheeks. She picked me up and Katsuya began to bring us back to the village.
"Granny Tsunade..."
"What?" she asked.
"I know it may look like I am betraying you. But there is something I must do . I will come come back, even if I must be imprisoned. But for now...Shinra tensei!" I screamed as the woman and the slug were repeled from me. I flew into the air. I held my hands out. The cerberus appeared and caught me before landing on the gound and running out of sight of Konoha.
