Chapter 15: Twist of fate
Sasuke's susanno disipated as he stood up. He was obviously drained of chakra, as I was. He struggled to his feet as I struggled to stand. The red haired girl ran towards Sasuke, but Konan stopped her and demanded she stay back. Sasuke picked his sword off of the ground and I created a black chakra disruption blade using my Rinnegan.
Without even thinking or realizing what happened, I found myself locked together with Sasuke. Are blades crossed and both of us. I was powered by nothing but the sheer drive to end Sasuke's evil, and to end his disrespect of Nagato, by ripping the rinnegan he stole out of his forhead.
I reached over the blades with my open hand and dug my fingers into his artificial eye socket, ripping the rinnegan out of his forhead with a massive gush of blood. He jumped away and held his head in pain and fury. I tossed Nagato's eye to Konan and she put it in a jar.
Sasuke charged at me once again. He prepared to stab me with his sword. I tapped the tatoo on the back of my hand and a surge of Nature chakra raged within me. I pushed my hand out, shattering his blade. He fell back as his blade was reduced to a stump. He threw it at me in anger, but I dodged and threw a Kunai that struck his shoulder.
Sasuke's face and clothes were now drenched in blood. He propped himself against a boulder that was turned up on end after Susanoo fell. He laughed.
"I see. You have finally matured. You are no brat anymore. Focussing on such idealistic dreams always made you look stupid. I can see that now you're not trying to save me. In fact it almost looks like you want me to die. But I won't let that happen.....NARUTO!!!!!" Sasuke screamed as he instantly made a chidori and rushed me. I held out my left hand and single handedly made a rasengan. He rushed me and I blocked with the rasengan. The chakra blasted out in all directions. I held my right hand to the side of me and again made another Rasengan. Sasuke stood there, trying to overpower my first. I raised my rasengan above his head, and came down upon his neck, sending him hard into the ground, blood splattered as a blood curtling snap was heard. The red haired woman screamed out Sasuke's name as Konan simply turned her head.
Sasuke layed on the ground below me, the back of his neck was blown to pieces and his neck was clearly broken. His body was limp and his face looked up at me. His eyes burned with hatred.
I felt a tear of blood drip down my face as I made the final move. I set Sasuke's eye's ablaze with the Amaterasu I gained from the last battle.
"You still considered me a friend? That last battle. You felt bad about my death and awakened a Mangekyou sharingan? I congradulate you for doing what even many Uchiha can't do, but if you still think of me as a friend, then you are a pitiful shinobi. You do not deserve to be the victor," he said as my sharingan eye's vision became cloudy and started to go dark.
I suddenly felt a sharp pain, I looked down and saw he created a susanoo skeleton arm that had pierced me through my body. I fell backwards as I watched his chakra disipear into nothing and his body stopped moving. I fell to the ground, breathing hard. I felt my sharingan eye go completely dark as I watched Konan come to my side. Then I blacked out.

"Karin, what happened here?" Kakashi asked Karin who was crying by Sasuke's side.
"They killed each other. It was a battle of untold proportions that ended with them smiting each other. The blue haired woman disipeared with Naruto's body. She cried in sadness and anger for his loss. And then they were gone," Karin replied.
"Lady Hokage...should we persue?" Kakashi asked me.
"No...let them go. Konan and Naruto loved each other. At least give them the honor of choosing their own resting place, take Sasuke's body to Konoha and bury him next to his brother and parents. Take the girl for further questioning. At least they left the gedo mazo and the tailed beasts. Let's go home."

"You know you scared me," Konan said, "why didn't you tell me you could do that?"
"I heard of Izanagi from Kakashi sensei. Honestly I didn't think it would work. I never cared for that sharingan. It always reminded me of Tobi's evil. I am better off without it," I replied.
"I think your new eye suits you," she said.
"Do you think so?" I asked.
"Yes, and now that you are not a wanted man. We can stay here and be happy," she said.
"Yeah, I would like that," I said as I kissed her and rubbed her slightly enlarged stomach."
