When his brothers died he only had 1T Sharingan. Izuna was his last living brother and he had MS before he died so he couldn't have gotten it by seeing his brothers die

Or when his father died.

Seriously, people need to stop blaming the manga for their own shortcomings. It's getting ridiculous. People use the word 'plothole' at the drop of a hat, and 97.5% of the time it's a mess up on their part. This is just another example.

Its not even a plot hole most of the time haha, people use the term pothole so lightly when its usually just them not paying attention to the manga. Madara and Hashirama were best friends yes. When they were children -.- and guess what, severing his bond with hashirama awakened his normal Sharingan. They were no longer best friends at that point. They were enemies even tho they hated it. Madara can have more than one close friend -.- and he grew up in war times where his friends and family would die on a daily basis. Put 2 and 2 together "Fans" -.-

Well, they killed their best friends to experience the great trauma. That awakens the MS. You don't have to kill to experience it though. That about concludes it.
