Its a great thread. I like your idea of the battle ending with the chidori/rasengan clash, just thought I should bring that up. I think the new translation makes more sense overall but im not sure if they are viz scan

I am still confident the fight ends with a chidori/rasengan clash, however you are right to bring it up. Perhaps it isn't the way that I'm guessing it'll go down, but I am definitely interested in the viz scan now!

rasengan chidori is what i was thinking.. and narutos hand is bandagded in the movie so it might be from that.

Nice theory.. Its also time we see 'that jutsu'. I think it is now or never. It will probably be another variant of rasengan and might be the only option left in the end for naruto to defeat sasuke.

Thank you chops! Ahhh the fabled 'that jutsu.' No clue what it could be or if we already saw it, perhaps it has to do with the whole "we both will die" segment. You once again have me interested in it lol.

I think the most useful jutsu Naruto could have honestly would be Pure World Resurrection so Itachi could come back and Tnj Sasuke. Of course, that is out there haha =D

It's all good, but the fight will definitely be good. I mean, this is probably the part of the manga that Kishi put in the most effort since the entire manga has been a buildup to this

Indeed you did! Sorry, I didn't think anyone else had made this yet! Seems it went under the radar. Nonetheless, it's a good prediction man, you were quicker than I was!

Good thread. That really is possible, it does seem like it's Kishi's style. *********** also says they need to put their seals together so I guess we will have to wait for Viz. I hope it does happen that way. I think Naruto will try to start the fight off with this because no one really knows how long it takes for people in IT to turn into White Zetsus, and I'm sure he wants to get them out of IT as quickly as possible.

He knows now that Sasuke will not free them voluntarily so he will have to trick him into it. As arrogant as Sasuke is he is probably thinking that he can release everyone from IT when he wants with his rinnegan. That might be possible if he had 2 rinnegan but I'm thinking that the sage only gave each of them half of the power to revive everyone so they would have to work together after the sealing of Kaguya.

Naruto seems very confident that he can get this done so it seems that he has a plan already. Naruto does not look nearly as surprised as everyone else so I think he was expecting Sasuke to pull something. It is Naruto's nature to mostly trust people but I think he has been in trust but verify mode with Sasuke since Sasuke came to the battlefield. I think he long passed the point of trust even as he was glad to have Sasuke's help.

He didn't like when Sasuke tried to burn the tailed beasts inside the 10 tails, he was annoyed when Sasuke only tried to save him and Jugo, he was angry that he was willing to let Sakura, Kakashi and Obito die in the lava dimension and he didn't like how Sasuke has been disrespecting Kakashi and Sakura by treating them as useless. I think he knew this might be coming and is prepared for it.

Everyone likes to say how naive and stupid he is but he is much better at battle strategy than people give him credit for. I don't think he was fooled by Sasuke's behavior and his playing down of his abilities and I think Naruto too did not give away too much of his abilities. He instinctively knew he could help Guy. Their powers didn't come with instructions. I think Naruto's instincts are much sharper than Sasuke's because of his training as a Sage and because of all of the work he had to do to overcome his hatred and get along with Kurama.

Thank you. And I completely agree, Naruto saw this coming for awhile, but he hoped it wouldn't. And yea, Naruto is insanely practical in his battles. He is unbelievably smart in this way. I think Naruto will win because he knows how Sasuke is. Sasuke will overlook a small detail and Naruto will trick him into helping release the IT =D

Thank you And yea, I'm convinced that whatever happened to his hand has to do with the seal releasing the IT. I'm just curious as to what it does to his hand
