who's the most well written character pain or madara ?

This is really hard because both have amazing backstory and have accomplished almost their goals
lets make the comparison.

Madara Uchiha

-Took on the bijuu's on his own while blind

-technically murderd the five kages

-planned every little thing till this war

-became a demi god (10 tails jinchuuriki)

Second,Madara killed sasuke with sasuke's sword and he killed too many shinobis So i think that Madara is well written character.
Pain is also a well written character.

A statement about pain that he "Made the main character cry like a little B!tch " shows that NAruto rustled your jimmies that's why you're butthurt.

Well I would have to say Pain since Naruto was supposed to end during the pain during the Pain arc and since Madara's character was developed during the war arc

madara did have a reason,it's because of discrimination against the uchiha's they where not allowed to have an OP.Have you seen any uchiha hokage ? and also he was betrayed by his only friend hashirama who promised him that he will be the hokage.

because madara left, the uchiha's never had any freedom and look what happend they where slaughtered,so madara didn't have any choise that's why he wanted peace at all cost so that such things would never happen again

Pain takes this, the guy solo'd the strongest village then he took on sage mode naruto but still was able to defeat him
