i think the way he gets powers is ok and makes sense, so far everything has been because of 9 tails or sage mode which its after jiraya.

U_Usee we all see the truth why can't you naruto is a creative guy of course he made all those rasengan versions in the spur of the moment plus the shadow clone thing he makes too risks and now he is paying for them
open your eyes people make mistakes to do something thats important to them
actually there is an episode where oro has sasuke seriously hurt ( not kill ) an army of soldier that he put out there to try and take out sasuke... obviously oro wanted sasuke to kill them all.. but sasuke (at the time) being the non killer he was... just hurt them all... he defeated them without killing a single one and there must have been thousands...
