Why does everyone assume he is weak because he hasn't been in a serious(go all out) battle since the war? I'm pretty certain Naruto nor Sasuke has had to use a fraction of their true power since the war. Does this make them rusty? No, its obvious they kept up with their training and mastered/learned new abilities. Also bijuu mode doesn't exist, its all "Kurama Chakra Mode" according to kishi, however when Naruto release Kurama(Synch Hearts) its referred to as Kurama Mode or Complete Kurama Chakra Mode. Basically its KCM or full powered KCM. ​

I know he used RSM, however it combined with KCM albeit not full powered. Just say bijuu mode has been retconned, its all KCM.

Look at the chapter again. Boruto wasn't going there to spend time with Naruto, he was going there to deliver a Bento. Naruto didn't have time because of Orochimaru/Sasuke, and I doubt Naruto was going to make a clone to eat a meal alone.

Boruto didn't even seem to care about his father in the sense of spending time with him either, funny enough.

Apparently u r missing my point so let me rephrase. If Shikamaru feels that he needs to step in to keep Bolt from wasting Naruto's time when Naruto is only using a clone then u can be assured that Naruto doesn't use the clones to train. If he did then Shikamaru wouldn't be so uptight
