It might happen, may not. We'll see. Hell, when you look at it right and how shounen's typically go, it's likely to happen. But, for me, it just doesn't seem like if Naruto gets stronger than the Sage that it'll be by as much as you seem to be implying. It can happen, but it's not very plausible. Kukapow.

...How am I not? My first post I said, essentially, him becoming far more powerful than the Sage like you said in the title is a no. Him outranking him is highly unlikely. It only becomes likely or plausible to a great extent if you think Kishi will go the typical shounen manga route with it, which I can't exactly see him doing because Naruto isn't the most popular manga series in the world because it's typical. But seriously: if Naruto gets stronger than the Sage, it won't be by much. Kishi can't go replacing a figure like that with Naruto, or anyone else.

I understand that. I'm saying it's a perspective thing. If Kishi goes the traditional way and makes Naruto, as the main character, into the big amazing hero of the world, it's possible. But those are never really plausible. But if Kishi realizes the story is too unique to be typical and doesn't go that way, like he shouldn't, and just goes off of what would seriously happen, it's not because there's no way Naruto could get to be that much stronger than the Sage.

I doubt that naruto will be more powerful than a "god" because SO6P is god and the creator with every jutsu in existence. In some cases, like speed, naruto has far surpassed anybody, even his dad's speed (not FTG). But, strength and power, that's impossible.
