I've never seen Nartuo put up a single decent fight. He just fails miserably every time in battle and then wins somehow, to keep the plot alive. Starting with his fight with Neji to his fight with Pain, not once Naruto's fought like a skilled ninja. Even Shikimaru is more entertaining to watch fighting than the main character.
