It started out as Ninja's with magical wizard powers based off of chakra (i thought that was cool because i knew of Chakra through Reiki) With the cool aspect of KKG, it became dope. Turns out they should have renamed the show, Naruto Shipuuden: Alien Blood Legacies.

Turns out the man of legend the Sage of The Six Paths, was an alien. ans so the majority if not all of kekkei genkai users just have alien blood and are wielding unearthly power. Though it was sorta cool, it was just an odd and unexpected turn. a bit of asspullery on Kishi's part. Not Zamasu level asspullery however. Kinda shitted on the whole fate is bullcrap argument Part 1 made though

I'm not sure how the series mislead you to believe there could be stronger characters that didn't need to learn ninjutsu

I think people just have a problem with power scaling since it starts to become more like dbz and less about ninjas

I mean, i was just trying to set up punchline for name of show. The power scaling being where it is on the upper tiers is cool, especially since TSB makes DB "Db universe characters are invicible" types rage.

They alien by definition but also gods because of shinju, Kishi just did the mistake of starting the series as strictly ninja when in reality shinobi are soldiers/warriors.

He also did a mistake with power scaling, his transition from stealth and tactics to open 'magical' warfare was terrible.

It became a huge "lets see who can spam the biggest cool magic move" contest

It's funny that Naruto was the one person this lesson doesn't apply to.
Naruto only succeeded because of what he worked for though. People act like Naruto being a transmigrant is why he and Sasuke succeeded, when Madara and Hashirama failed while being transmigrants.

Naruto's fate was, for all intents and purposes, to be a failure. He only succeeded because he decided to keep working hard and trying despite failing so many times.

Nah, it stayed the same on a grander scale...
Pretty much. People just conveniently forget that strategy still existed as the series got near the end. Hell, Kaguya lost because of a strategy using OP shit.

Oh for the love of

Naruto's message was never that fate is crap. It was if you don't like your fate, you can change it if you want.
It wasn't that it was crap per say, but that simplifies the point. But yeah it sort of contradicts that does it not, having Naruto and sasuke basically move down the magical fate reincarnate path just like all the other incarnates before them, though at the end naruto helped sasuke change his fate.

hmmm nah Hashirama and Madara failed in their overall goals, however, they were still AWESOMELY POWERFUL they were destined, by fate, their very souls, and chakra, to be powerful shinobi of great consequence.

But that's not why he succeeded, you're right. Partially.

Being a Transmigrant means nothing. But Naruto was also the subject of not one, but two prophesies, totally aside from his Transmigrant status.

Naruto was destined to be great, unlike any other shinobi in the entirety of the manga, and it's not because of his hokage lineage, jinchuriki status, or transmigrated spirit.

So while you are correct in saying his Transmigrant status did not undercut his speech about destiny, you are incorrect in assuming that nothing did.

This is also true, and it is worth noting that they only failed in their overall goals because those goals were in direct opposition of the other side of the coin.

Had Madara or Hashirama or Naruto or Sasuke been the sole transmigrant in the world during their lifetimes, any of the four of them could have remade the world the way they saw fit.

Two prophecies? The only prophecy I recall was that he would be the blue-eyed, blonde-haired boy who'd unite the Bijuu.

A prophecy=/=destiny. Prophecy is guess-work. Destiny means that you have no choice.

Destiny would mean that Naruto could have sat on his ass all day everyday eating chips and reading Icha Icha while working in the ramen shop and still would have saved the world, which isn't true.

The series had the message that no one is bound by "fate," and that if you worked hard, you can change your fate. That's what Naruto did.
