1) Nagato wanted to capture Naruto - he had to hold back.
2) He brought Naruto down with his chakra rods - Hinata had to save him (well, she had to die ^^). Naruto would've been dead long ago if Nagato wanted to kill him.
3) Nagato had already fought the whole village = massive chakra usage.
4) Because of plot no jutsu Naruto wasn't attacked by all paths at once.
It's also due to PNJ that Naruto got caught by chakra rods in the first place.

Naruto was ready to take out Deva path right then and there, but then this happened.

So let me get this strait.... Instead of dodging and attacking Deva Path, he catches Pa preventing his use of shadow clones or reverse summons to counter Deva Path. That was actually plot heavy for Pain. It was also plot that Naruto didn't turn into the 9 tails at the start of the fight.

This is untrue. He still had PLENTY of chakra left after that attack. How do I know? He was still able to use every Peins' abilities perfectly. If he were low, he wouldn't have been able to do that
I'm talking about Deva path. Deva path's powers wouldn't return until later on since he used that massive shinra tensei. So naruto fought pains without deva which are obviously not as strong. So naruto had an advantage and managed to take out the rest of the pains until deva path recovered.

Because of Plot no jutsu,Nardo wasnt allowed to snap from the get go when he learned that Kakashi was killed, and let Kurama take care of the rest earlier.

we all know that one of Naruto's greatest feats (if not the greatest so far) has been the defeat of Pain. But did Naruto really beat pain or was it a combined effort of the leaf village? The reason i ask this is because i'm having a hard time believing that naruto would have beaten him without all the help he had(the sage toads, minato, hinata). I'm not saying that he would have or wouldn't but i'm just asking if someone who has looked into all of the facts and situations could say whether or not it was all him.

any feedback would be great and i'd love to hear it. PS: im not a fanboy or a naruto hater he's actually one of my favs, it's just a question.

Thanks

without the info no one can beat pain. no matter who you are. except itachi and shishui

Would'nt Naruto have snapped if he had seen Kakashi did?Seeing a death is much more worse than hearing about it.

There are many things that happened because of the plot, but Nagato letting his paths die one by one while he could have focused them all at once on Naruto was really stupid. Don't you agree?
