Naruto vs. Six Paths of Pein

we all know that one of Naruto's greatest feats (if not the greatest so far) has been the defeat of Pain. But did Naruto really beat pain or was it a combined effort of the leaf village? The reason i ask this is because i'm having a hard time believing that naruto would have beaten him without all the help he had(the sage toads, minato, hinata). I'm not saying that he would have or wouldn't but i'm just asking if someone who has looked into all of the facts and situations could say whether or not it was all him.

any feedback would be great and i'd love to hear it. PS: im not a fanboy or a naruto hater he's actually one of my favs, it's just a question.

Without all that he got beat. Then Hinata came in and saved his ass. Even without Kurama and assitance Naruto put up a hell of a fight.

No plot= no story. If plot says Naruto wins then dude that means naruto wins whether you like it or not.

This is untrue. He still had PLENTY of chakra left after that attack. How do I know? He was still able to use every Peins' abilities perfectly. If he were low, he wouldn't have been able to do that

All 6 paths with full power would have won against sm Naruto pretty comfortably, he would die however whenever Kurama takes over theres no hope for Pain.

Naruto w/ some assistance from Katsuya & six tailed state helped him beat Pein.

He gave Pein one hell of a fight, and destroyed the paths by himself:

Good question.

The Sage toads were his summoning though so that has to be ruled out of the question. Hinata sparked Naruto into unleashing the Kyuubi Chakra which ultimately lead him to meet Minato because the seal was damaged. I don't think anyone else would have done what Hinata did to give Naruto that reaction though MAYBE out of desperation Naruto would have unleashed it anyway?

Naruto was doing pretty well against Nagato's Six Paths before AND after the Kyuubi incident. He took them all on and reduced them down only the deva path without external help. He defeated the Deva Path with his own power after all that as well.

If he could have escaped the deva paths rods maybe he could have won without the need Hinata's interference. Maybe the Kyuubi would have lent him some Chakra so he wouldn't be captured, lose or die like Kurama did when Naruto faced Madara and when he faced Sasuke at the valley of death. Some can argue that Pain wasn't fighting to kill but CAPTURE him.

Plot was pretty heavy on both sides, so it's hard to tell. Without Kurama, he would have no way to get away from planetary devastation though. However, I think it's been made very clear that SM Naruto> Deva Path without planetary devastation.

1) Nagato wanted to capture Naruto - he had to hold back.
2) He brought Naruto down with his chakra rods - Hinata had to save him (well, she had to die ^^). Naruto would've been dead long ago if Nagato wanted to kill him.
3) Nagato had already fought the whole village = massive chakra usage.
4) Because of plot no jutsu Naruto wasn't attacked by all paths at once.
