Except that Naruto from The Last was fighting Toneri's puppets with pure taijutsu skills without clones while Hiashi (high Jounin) with the Byakugan and strongest taijutsu style in Konoha couldn't do with 2 guards. Naruto's (Shippuden) taijutsu skills improved in his training with Jiraiya and with Pa toad and we see him being capable to defend kenjutsu using his combat skills. Bee beat Sasuke with his kenjutsu skills in the scan someone posted above, Bee's durability prevented Sasuke's taijutsu from actually hurting Bee. Naruto is more physically stronger than Sasuke as his power is body and he has beat people using a punch, kick, or headbutt.

For me, we at least see Naruto's taijutsu skills improve after the war and we can compare it to a strong taijutsu user such as Hiashi since they fought the same opponent using taijutsu but Naruto was clearly able to easily handle himself without clones. Naruto further trained for a few years after that as we see him do light training in taijutsu while waiting for his family to come back at the end of the Last which is like 3-5 years after the Last.
