Who would win???

Both know each other ability to what they saw(So naruto doesnt know jirayas sage mode powers because he didnt see them and jiraya doesnt know narutos sage powers but they know every thing else)

Both have the 2 sage frogs to help them but they both cant summon the same frog(ex. both cant have gamabunto on their side)

Naruto hase 2 clones in mt.Mybokuzan(spelling) and jiraya has enough energy to summon the sages and go into sage mode

jiraiya by far.

he knows sealing,summoning and has a vast aray of ninjutsu.

naruto is just "KAGE BUNSHIN!!!" and "RASENGAN!!!"
nothing smart about naruto.

also if anyone brings up that pain battle.

jiraiya went to Amegakure on a recon mission, not to fight.

naruto faught pain battle ready.

jiraiya fought knowing nothing about him and it was his main objective to find out his secrets.

naruto had info from jiraiya/kakashi on the abilities of pain so he knew exactly who target and at what time.

also Jiraiya's speciality is infiltration and assassinations.

ill leave you to do the math.

simply put, being stronger doesnt mean you will win the battle

prime example is Deidara vs Gaara.

jiraiya has more versatility and more of a range of jutsu's then naruto, but naruto all out would win, if they were fighting each other seriously but not to kill id say jiraiya

They both fight wayy to similarly. For me it's Naruto pulling off a slight win because any major damage will get healed by the Kyuubi.

If the frogs said Naruto has surpassed Jiraiya, then it's true. Unfortunately for us J-man fans, we have to accept it.

naruto would crush jiraiya. brute strength doesnt always guarantee victory, but naruto gets smarter and smarter, and it very witty. he's strong and fast. regardless if jiraiya has more ninja techs and experience, just the simple fact that he didnt master sage mode will be his defeat: he is not on par with naruto concerning strength and speed.

In techs and how to use them, Jiraiya is still the master. I think it would even be interesting on thinking how he would take care of not having to kill Naruto. Who know what Oro's bastard will try next.

It's gotta be Naruto. I love Jiraiya but Naruto's raw strength just makes him hard to beat. Naruto defeated most of pains bodies while Jiraiya couldn't.

Would love to see Naruto learn some more jutsu and become a bit more like the versatile and interesting Jiraiya. Jiraiya's fights have always been a little more complex and intersesting while Naruto's are epic.

So what if Naruto mastered Sage? Based off the fight of Pain vs. Jiraya Jiraya is great at it too. He can use it for as long as he likes, unlike naruto. Jiraya has a wide range of jutsu and knows how to use them adequately. Look at the fight against Pain again and look at how easily Jiraya was taking out some of Pain's body's without knowing anything about them. Jiraya also fought a full strength Pain while Naruto fought him after he had used up a good amount of his chakra. Pain really only hurt Jiraya after he let his guard down because he thought he was dead- while the only reason he didn't kill Naruto is because he needed him alive. Before that, even with his hands together, Pain had trouble even catching him.

If your using the kyubi, then Naruto wins, but otherwise Jiraya wins.

Since Naruto have to summon his kage bunshins with the scroll he leaves himself open to attacks which J-man could use to get some jutsus fired on him. So right now I think J-man would win because he can use sage mode without the need to summon kage bunshins while Naruto has to.

But if Naruto can fuse with the frogs after he masters the kyubi, he would win I think, cause of the brute strenght of Naruto and his imagination when he fights.
