if hashirama captured all the tailed beasts, it would have been at different intervals
so

or
naruto, sage mode, kyuubi mode and bijuu mode(while in bijuu mode, he can make a clone that can go into sage mode)

That not the only thing we know about Hashirama.He also was a master of Earth and Water release jutsus.He could control tail beast, and had several under his possession at one point, which could mean he could control multiple tail beasts at one time.And last, he was a genjutsu users , which we all know naruto is extremely weak against.I know that not enough, but it is more than just wood release.

Hashirama was said to be able to suppress the fox's chakra/tailed beast chakra in general. If he does, thats bm and km naruto gone. He'd have to use sm and sm isnt strong enought to defeat the man who defeated ems madara.
