Ok guys i got into a argument about this one with a fello member so yall tell me the same deidara that sasuke fought would naruto have won that fight against deidara around the same time frame??

Naruto's only chance would be the 4tails which would get obliterated via c3. Gamabunta fire oil combo wouldn't work with Naruto since he doesn't posses any katon techs.

Deidara wins pretty easily.

Naruto doesn't have anything to reliably counter Deidara's explosive clay, unlike Sasuke. He could send in hordes of clones to eat the explosions for him, but that still won't give him many openings, and since Naruto is a close-range fighter, if he can't get close, he can't win. His only good move is Rasenshuriken. If it hits, it has a chance of messing Deidara up and preventing him from using his bombs ever again. But hitting is the issue. Naruto can't get close enough to guarantee a clean hit, and C2 could blow a Rasenshuriken out of the sky if it's too far away.

Land mines and the sheer range and veratility of his bombs give Deidara the advantage on the ground, C2 gives him a huge advantage in the air. Gamabunta could easily tank most of Deidara's mundane explosions, but C3 would put him down. Gamabunta may be fast for his size, but I doubt he could get away fast enough from an explosion that could've leveled Suna. If the blast itself didn't get him, the shockwaves would weaken him too much to fight, at best.

Naruto has no counter to C4. No Sharingan to see the bombs, no safe place to go, with those bombs floating around in a wide area, just waiting for him to inhale.

Naruto has no chance against Deidara without help.

C3 needs to be prepped before hand like when he fought Gaara. It wasn't even used when fought Sasuke because of that reason. So C3 is excluded.

Gamabunta can still jump, shoot Giant Suiton bullets, & slice his bird or Dragon in half.

The only way Deidara doesn't win is if he lets Naruto get to KN4, but god knows that's never going to happen. Even then Naruto would still lose as long as Deidara is in the air.

-Naruto can't dodge C2, nor can he block it.
-He can't prevent Deidara from getting in the air.

Match ends the moment the first C2 bomb is fired. FRS is useless when it hurts his arm and he can't even throw it.

Why wouldn't it happen? The Last time Naruto encountered Deidara he went V1 two tails. He went 4 tails literally a month later or something.

I'd say this Naruto only looses to him being tired from training & not having perfected Rasenshuriken yet. (Kakuzu fight)

He mainly loses because he can't throw rasen shuriken and he doesn't have good speed feats to say he can keep dodging deidara's missiles.

KN4 Naruto also loses, seeing as c4 would desintegrate him.
