BUT...........online it says if you pre-order this game from gamestop you can get the download card for "the 1st hokage" as a support character with the game. when i opened the case, it didn't have any special card for "the 1st hokage" anywhere in the case. does anyone know why this is or do i just need to go to some website and do something to get the downloaded code for him?????

No it doesnt come with one. Cuz i just got it yesterday. So Yea you got the wrong info it probably meant if u preordered it online.../

ok i bought the game today, and i have played for like 7 hours in a row lol...
ive been addicted to it already, the game is just SOO COOOL.
gotta say that gai's ultimate jutsu is just HILLARIOUS !!!
Im at tsunade retrieval arc's final mission ( the battle between all 3 sannins that is )
only thing that sucked is that u start right before chuunin exams, so there's no zabuza fight in it..
gaara and kisame and sandaime owns btw ^^

- Spectacular chakra-based special moves
- True to the spirit of the manga/anime
- Multiplayer blast for Naruto fans

Cons:

- Lots of long load times (despite the 10 min install)
- Mission mode objectives are unclear/confusing
- Free-roaming world depicted in Mission mode is lifeless and unworthy of ps3 hardware
- Transitions between missions and free-roaming world are non-existant
- No online mode
