but honestly the idea of being a shinobi is to use everything you have to your advantage... so what does it matter if you solo or not... winning is all that's important, doesn't matter how you win..

Just because the manga is called Naruto that isn't proof that Naruto would be the strongest. If you check Inuyasha another manga, Inuyasha brother Sesshomaru is stronger than him. Inuyasha never surpasses Sesshomaru. Inuyasha got better skills, speed, sense of smell, power etc.

Heck check Yu-Gi-Oh GX and the new series, Yugi isn't even the main character and doesn't appear after GX.
