Kurama is closer to the Sage, not so much Naruto. Naruto has shown some very interesting feats, such as handing out chakra like it was candy on Halloween, and even changing that very candy to the person's favorite... Umm, I mean chakra nature to suit the person he gives it to.

Anyways, Naruto certainly has come a long way, and naturally he is going to become closer to the Sage due to having more chakra than most because he is a Jinchuuriki. The more mastery he gains over such power and chakra, the more he is like the sage, who once had the source of chakra sealed inside of him. Anybody that has a lot of chakra and a tailed beast with mastery over it is closer to the Sage than others IMO.

As you can see , In the past ,these may have been small things , but the small things are the ones that makes the difference day by day ...this why Naruto is in another Level than any shinobi (except Madara which full power is still a secret )
