Chapter 3
Awakening! Maka and Soul encounter the Dark Soul!!
Enter the FireLord's home
Ty Lee: "Azula! Time to wake up!"
Azula: "I'm awake. Go and get some water outside for me."
Ty Lee: "Okay."
*Ty Lee leaves*
Azula: "Being Firelord is really boring. Has my training been pointless? Sometimes I just wonder...."
*Ty Lee screams*
Azula: "Ty Lee, calm down."
Ty Lee (From outside): "Azula! Hurry!"
Azula: "What is it....?"
(Azula walks outside and sees Ty Lee on the ground staring at a girl in a school outfit and holding a weapon.)
Maka: "S-soul... This isn't the dark soul we encountered earlier."
Soul: "I see. Well, still, it's a kishin. Maybe we should take this one instead, huh?"
Maka: "I don't know. It's not our assignment."
Azula: "What do we have here? A weak girl and a weapon? Do you even know who I am? I feel insulted. Ty Lee, back away. I'll handle it. This may be the only non-boring thing in awhile."
Ty Lee: "O-okay, Azula."
Soul: "Maka, make up your mind! Do we fight or not?"
Maka: "We-"
Azula: "Fight."
(Azula shoots a blue flame from her finger tips and Maka runs to her right to avoid it)
Soul: "What was that?!"
Maka: "Is she a..witch... No, she's not. Her soul isn't like that...."
Soul: "Keep alive!"
(Azula shoots two more flams from her hands, and Maka spins Soul around thus brushing the flames away)
Soul: "Ow! Damnit, Maka! Be careful!"
Maka: "Sorry, Soul."
Azula: "How cute."
(Azula runs at them, jumps, and shoots flames by kicking them at Maka. Maka rolls out of the way, but Azula gets behind Maka and grabs Soul)
Azula: "Why do you keep talking to this pathetic weapon for?"
Soul: "You're calling me pathetic?"
Azula: "!?"
Maka: "Now, Soul!"
(Soul transforms half of his body, the half Azula is holding, into his normal human state. He turns around quickly and cuts Azula. Staggering backwards, Azula looks up and see's Maka swinging on full scythe in her face. Ty Lee intervenes and kicks Maka back)
Ty Lee: "Forget me?"
Azula: "I told you to stay back......but thank you, anyways."
Maka: "Soul, are you okay?"
Soul: "Yeah, let's just end this fast."
(Maka jumps inbetween Ty Lee and Azula twilring Soul over her head, but their targets duck and trip Maka. Azula goes to punch Maka in the face with her fire, but Soul transforms, grabs her hand, and pushes her down. Ty Lee punches Soul's arm, but he quickly transforms back while Maka grabs him and jumps away)
Maka: "Soul, why are you heavier than usual?"
Soul: "The pink girl hit a joint in my arm. It's dead weight. Such a pain."
(Ty Lee runs at Maka and throws numerous puchnes, which Maka dodges and blocks with Soul)
Soul: "Keep it up Maka! In this form, my joints are safe!"
Ty Lee: "If my punches aren't working, maybe this will!"
(Ty Lee backflips and goes to kick Maka's face, but Maka uses Soul as a shield. While clashing, Azula runs and kicks Maka in the face.)
Soul: "Maka!"
Maka: "I-I'm fine."
Soul: "Here they come."
(Maka throws Soul into the air, and awaits Ty Lee and Azula charging towards her)
Azula: "What is she..."
(Maka splits down when Azula and Ty Lee get next to her, allowing a falling Soul to transform and kick them in the face)
Soul: "Heh, score. Nice job Maka."
Azula: "You....You... filthy PEASANT! Ty Lee, distract them, while I prepare."
Ty Lee: "You got it!"
Enter the Southern Tribe.
An awaken snake slithers....
Kabuto: "Refreshing. I can't believe my eye is gone. Those kids....Hm? What is this? I sense something. Not chakra, but...energy itself...aswell as some power. Souls? Those children?"
(Kabuto summons a coffin, and a deceased Deidara appears)
Kabuto: "Deidara, use your clay to summon a bird for me."
Deidara: "Me work for you? Heh! You really are like Orochimaru. Thinking someone of my stature will you. Hm, I think I'll pass."
Kabuto: "Do you really even have an option? You are dead afterall, and in my control. Your days of being an artist is behind you."
Deidara: "Why you! My art will never die! Every time an explosion occurs, my beauty is restored!"
Kabuto: "Then make your creation. Show me the beauty of your work."
Deidara: "I'll show you my ART!"
(Deidara makes a clay bird, and it expands.)
Kabuto: "Nice work."
Deidara: "This is only part of my work. Heh."
(Deidara makes a handsign)
Deidara: "My art... IS AN-"
(Kabuto kicks Deidara back into the coffin, and releases the jutsu. While sinking back into the ground, Kabuto looks at the coffin)
Kabuto: "Your art is only a vague memory.'
(Kabuto jumps unto the bird)
Kabuto: "Now...to discover some new things about this place, but first...to replace my eye. That girl's eye was interesting. It'll be a nice replacement.....As for my tail, it will regrow."
(Kabuto looks into the sun)
Kabuto: "As the sun rises....fire grows."
Enter the Firelord's home
(Ty Lee is trading shots with Maka, holding Soul. Ty Lee jumps back when Maka swipes Soul at her, and runs and trips Maka)
Ty Lee: "Nice outfit. I think I'll borrow it later!"
(Maka grabs Soul and unleashes a big strike that makes Soul stick into the ground. Ty Lee backflips and then jumps on the end of Soul, the scythe. Maka, grabbing the handle, flips forward and delivers a thunderous kick into Ty Lee's face, throwing her up against the wall of a building)
Soul: "One down. One to-"
Azula: "Die!"
(Maka turns around and see's Azula finishing gaining lightening.)
Soul: "Maka! I'm stuck!"
Maka: "I'll get you out!"
Soul: "No time!"
(Azula smiles, and shoots a massive bolt of lightening towards Maka)
Soul: "Maka, go!"
Maka: "S...-Soul."
(Soul stares at the lightening throw his scythe form and awaits his demise. Maka uses all her strength and pulls Soul out, while doing a flup, jumping over the lightening)
Azula: "How in the....Not yet!"
(Azula shoots lightening at Maka, while she's landing, but Soul transforms into a human and pushes her out of the way. Once landing, Soul transforms back and they run at Azula, while dodging shots of fire.)
Soul: "Now!"
Maka: "Soul!"
(Maka throws Soul at Azula and rolls behind Azula. Azula goes to shoot Soul with Lightening, but Maka hits Azula in the back causing her to barely miss Soul. Maka grabs Soul's handle, stopping the blades from Azula's face, and holds it in a striking motion)
Maka: "It's over."
