The storyline will start from the beginning of part 1 all the way to the 4th Ninja world war of Shippuden. So both Naruto and Sasuke from both parts will be in the game.

So far, the only confirmed are Naruto and Sasuke from both parts, Kakashi, Raikage, Darui, C, Haku, and Zabuza.

Yeah I would say its more of a Storm 2.5 then a storm 3.

It might as well be classified as a storm 3 :/ but anyway looks good, I'm guessing a 2012 release date. hopefully it will be in spring rather than fall... cause by that time, the fourth ninja war will be outdated. Much like nuns2.

I'd go as far as to say that it could be out by the end of this year. They already have the program, maps and charachters (asside from a few). They look like they already have quite a bit read to go.

They've probably done a sneaky one and recycled most of it from storm 2. Just with a few tweaks to the system. I don't see them making a whole new game from scratch and get this far in what? a few months?

Yeah and yhe 4th ninja world war isn't over yet how can they make a game with that in it its possable for the 5 kage summit arc that's done in the manga but the ninja worls war isn't done yet is there real proof from a shonen jump? I stil don't belive this even if it has a narutopedia page
