I'm angry.

Why the hell didn't the update Jugo with his Curse Mark mode 2? Also, PTS Gaara should go into his 1-tailed awakening/half awakening. The games who had that was for PS2, so why can't CC2 do this for bigger consoles?

On the upside, I'm happy the included PTS Gaara in black.

I also like Kabuto's moveset, but his finisher should include all 5 who he brought back.

I'm so torn right now :/ I don't know if I want to stick to using Pein with Naruto/Minato or Start new cause I'm feeling this game is definitely beefing up water users and I like the sound of "maining" Tobirama with Mei/Kisame and now I can't decide but I guess I still have 20 days left lol...

Well I think I saw on the CC2 twitter account something about DLC, so hopefully that DLC will have CC2 Jugo, Butterfly Mode Chouji, Shukaku PTS Gaara (I don't know if his awakening is that), Pain Chibaku Tensei, A new Orochimaru Ougi, New Konan Ougi, Sound Four, Anko + Kurenai, and all the other support characters becoming playable. That way almost everyone can be happy ^^

Naruto Generations Alternate Jutsus for Kakashi, Itachi:​

Many fans have been wondering what alternate jutsus Kakashi and Itachi have. Well, YouTube user Tunisiano30 has uploaded some videos calm the curiosity!

Iin addition to Mangekyo Sharingan and Raikiri, both of which were in Storm 2, Kakashi will have Double Lightning Quake as his ultimate jutsu and a Earth Style: Fanged Pursuit for his normal jutsu!



Itachi will have will have Susanoo and his Fireball Jutsu, both from Storm 2, as well as Tsukuyomi and Clone Jutsu: Super Explosion!

Saiyan Island first began it’s coverage of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations back on June 17th, 2011, when rumor hit the web of CyberConnect2 putting together it’s newest Naruto masterpiece.

Since then, we’ve been nothing, but obsessed with this game! Words can’t even describe the amount of passion we have for Naruto Generations! We’ve left personal events, stayed up late, and even woken up during the middle of the night, countless times, just to catch the latest in the world of Generations! Despite all of the fatigue we’ve been hit with, we have to say the last 8+ months have been fantastic!

Details on Training Mode in Naruto Generations:​

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is finally out in Japan, and it is thus developer CyberConnect2 (CC2) can now freely speak about the game! Thanks to information provided by CC2, the first topic we will cover on Saiyan Island is training mode!


Players can refine their skills in this mode by practicing their jutsus and combos on a computer opponent that stands still or acts as set in the training mode options. Before we discuss the computer opponent, we will go into what options the player has for themselves!

Support characters – This allows players to practice with or without support characters.
Team Gauge – this determines if you can launch the team attacks.
Support Gauge – this determines how fast you can use your support characters.
Substitution Gauge – this determines if you can use a substitution jutsu.
Awakened state – this determines if you can awaken.
Chakra Bar – this determines if you can use chakra.
Ninja Tools – this determines if you can use ninja tools.

With the exception of support characters, all of the attributes have three options – on, off, and infinite. On means that the attribute works as normal. Off means the attribute does not work at all. Infinite means the attribute is always full.

Lets take the support gauge as an example. When it is on, you can use support characters, but when you call a support character for help there will be a brief period of time which you have to wait before you can call them again. This is the normal option and is just like Storm 2. when the substitution gauge is off, that means supports can’t be called at all. When the substitution gauge is set to infinite, that means players can call support as much as they want to, with no limitations!

Now lets turn our attention to the computer opponents behavior. Players have the options to turn have the computer opponent stand still or fight back. If they are set to fight back, then the difficulty level at which they respond can be adjusted. Additionally, the following attributes can be turned on or off.

Lets use chakra dash as an example. If the chakra dash is turned on, then the computer opponent can perform a chakra dash. If it is turned off, then they can’t perform a chakra dash.

Players can also set the ninja tool option for the computer opponent to on, off, or infinite.

Naruto Generations Zabuza and Haku’s English Sub Story Preview:​

Namco Bandai Games Europe has released an English subbed preview of Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya! (also known as Jiraiya’s story mode). The video has a funny error, one which you may even consider a joke. At the beginning of the video when Jiraiya says “Naruto” the subtitles actually say Sasuke Uchiha!

Overview of Collecting and Customizing in Naruto Generations:​

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is out in Japan and developer CyberConnect2 has revealed some additional information about items you can collect and customize!

By playing through Naruto Generations, players can collect ninja tools, substitution items, Ninja Info Card images, Ninja Info Card images, Ninja Info Card titles, ultimate jutsu videos, image movies, and anime-style movies. The ultimate jutsu videos, image movies, and anime-style movies are just things to watch for fun. However, the other things – ninja tools, substitution items, Ninja Info Card images, Ninja Info Card images, Ninja Info Card titles – can be used to customize your character and profile!

First off are ninja tools. We’ve talked about ninja tool customization before, but we will touch on it again. As shown below, players can select the ninja tools their character are equipped with and map them to a directional pad button of their choosing.

Ninja tools can be customized in an online mode called Ex Battle Rank (this name may change for North America and Europe). Additionally, they can be customized in offline matches. Specifically, there are four offline modes in which players can customize ninja tools.

Free battle – This mode is similar to Storm 2 in which a player can fight against a friend at their house or the computer.

Survival Mode – In this mode, players fight against as many computer opponents as possible, one at a time. More info is available here

Tournament – In this mode players can compete against friends and/or computer opponents in a tournament style bracket. More info can be found here.

Training – In this mode players can practice their ninja skills on a computer opponent that they can stand still and take attacks or fight back. More info can be found here.

Secondly we will discuss the customization of substitution items. When a player performs a substitution jutsu, their character’s body is generally replaced by a log. Once a player has collected a different substitution item, it can then replace the default log. In Storm 2, for example, the log could be replaced with an octopus tentacle or panda bear.

Third in Saiyan Island’s list of customizable items in Naruto Generations are Ninja Info Card images. These are similar to Storm 2. When a player goes online, for example, they represent themselves with a Ninja Info Card and those Ninja Info Cards have images on them. There are tons of images that can be collected by playing through Generations and a variety of characters that can represent a player. The screenshot below shows Kakashi as the Ninja Info Card image.

The fourth customizable item are Ninja Info Card titles.These titles are comprised of two pre-defined parts – an adjective and a noun. For example, The Leaf Village’s Ninja. “The Leaf Village’s” is the adjective and “Ninja” is the noun. In Storm 2, only the adjective could be customized in Ninja Info Card titles.
