Naruto Shippuden Episode 394"The New Chinin Exam" Discussion

I was being bored where canon was right now, so I'm looking forward to this arc. It can easily be ruined by trying to shove too many characters into a small arc, but I like where it's going. Having both Gaara and Fuu being jinchuuriki can be interesting and I'm intrigued by the politics behind all of this. I'm looking forward to seeing how Gaara behaves as a young Kazekage and the struggles of how even a lot of his own villagers don't accept him. Yugao being a part of the ANBU intrigued me and considering that her lover got killed during the previous chunin exam; it'd be interesting to see if she gets some screentime showing her having a grudge against Suna. Also I spy Anko in the preview for the next ep, so I'm looking forward to seeing her even though I'm doubting she'll have lines.

5/5 if only because seeing Shikamaru and Temari interact really made me smile

What I'm only worried about is the timeline. If you see the preview of the following episode you can clearly see Hanzo. Now, if Hanzo in that episode is just some transormation jutsu I'm ok but if not, then it contradicts to the timeline since Nagato had killed Hanzo before the creation of the Akatsuki as it was later known as criminal organization.

I wouldn't put it past SP to make retcons, but if Amegakure doesn't play that big of a role in the arc then I wouldn't really mind. We'll see what happens though.

a few things that were shown made me happy. first yura since we know hes an akatsuki spy. then bunpukus (first ichibi host's) name.

the villiages dont trust each other bc of their pasts lol.

as for amegakure, no one knows their situation since theyre cut off. so the hanzo we see is most likely fake. there was pain or someone in akatsuki clothes in the preview.

i love when filler does politics better than the canon lol

As i thought - pretty lame. Very slow start (which is a bad sign), alot of talking about things that i feel are being discussed for the n-th time, and i had to laugh how we simply entered a Tsunade flashback when the two main heroes are dying. Bee, however, was pretty funny.

Skipping these fillers, though the new ending is very catchy, i definitely like it.

Wow. Naruto and Sasuke (the two ninja carrying the shinobi alliance) are lying KO'ed on the verge of death and Tsunade thinks this is a perfect time for a flashback/trip down memory lane.

I actually really enjoyed this episode and have high hopes for this filler! Im really esctatic that this filler doesnt go into pre-timeskip times but instead keeps in timeskip period

( i dont like going back to something when i already got a new feel/look for characters in a show. )

In relation to this episode haha, i hope bee joins. That way we will have 3 possibly 4 jinchuuriki attending. ( gaara, green haired chick, bee and possibly Naruto )

I skipped this episode. Why is everyone having such long flashbacks in the anime? First Gaara and Shukaku..and now Tsunade having a huge flashback about the Chunnin exams -___-
