The animator who did this episode animated like 4 canon episode since episode 362, and don't forget 345 and 375 they are canon with 3 chapters each with amazing animation so what u said now is nonsense , there are more well animated canon episode im too lazy to say them

Judging actually by the first episode of this new filler arc, it looks really promising. In fact the reason I like very much some well done filler episodes like today's, is because they they emphasize a lot in the political motives, a subject which is essential since we talk about countries. Also, seeing Konoha actually doing something while Naruto wasn't there is also a pleasant suprise because it shows that Naruto is only a part of Konoha, not Konoha himself.

Although i hate fillers, but since the manga has ended i guess i can watch fillers since i seen everything else.

OT:Is it me or is that the fillers episode animation sh*ts on the canon episode animation?

I was talking about canon-episodes like from the Juubito-Arc (every single one of them was awful animated) and also the episodes from that Madara-revival-arc were really bad so far. If you compare the quality of this episode today with the last 20~ episodes you will see the difference.
I don't doubt that there were some fine episodes within the war-arc, like "Madara vs. Shinobi Alliance" or "Kakashi vs. Obito".. but most of them were trash.

It depends, if you're one of those people who think that filler episodes are by definition bad, then don't watch it. I liked it a lot personally.

It could've been better, I'd say iit was OK/average for an arc opening episode so 3/5

Next week looks like it might be Chiyuki Tanaka as animation director, but I'm not 100% sure. He usually puts out decent-good quality episodes so I hope it's him.

4/5 Animation decent. Good start to a filler arc. Hopefully this is a good filler arc. We never really knew anything about Fu until the war arc. She was captured before Gaara so we'll probably see someone capture her, interrupting the exams again.
