Madara hadn't "reached the other side" until the VoTE fight, so he shouldn't have had PS yet.
The artwork and animation were all over the place.
The fight scenes were done poorly with pitiful pacing.

We don't know about his perfect Susanoo, yes at that time indeed it haven't been shown but on the other hand since he had EMS it would make sense for him to have it, and besides that whole "reaching the other side" was done with Kurama's power as well and it was at that moment when Madara believed that he would defeat Hashirama. That being said, in this fight, indeed he hadn't reached it as he didn't have what it takes.

As for the other I don't agree but eveyone can have their opinion.

Their fight was incredible and the animation was superb IMO.

What a lazy animators... I mean come on, that's Sasuke... No difference at all, should've done a better job with Izuna's animation as an adult, but still, the more he looks like Sasuke, the more I like him. =D

Madara vs Hasirama was wrongfully depicted (Perfect SS) but the canon certainly made up for it. 0/5 for filler fight 5/5 for canon. You messing up the money Pierrot Studios.

Great fight wasn't expecting that much insight to Madara but I'm glad they did it that way. I thought Izuna was still alive when madara took his eyes. IDK. Nice Perfect Susanno and it looks like they all have wings so Sasuke's is prob the same power. Except with new eye.

I loved the added fight scenes. I found it boring how in the manga that battle was completely skipped and Madara was on the ground right after introducing his EMS. I also have no problems with the animation. Some people apparently have a pretty deranged view to bash it.

loved it! I don't know about you guys but the anime doesn't have to follow the manga 100%. I'm perfectly fine with a few scenes being out of order, after all, it's up to the studio's interpretations. 5/5 for pure epicness and badassery! (longer fights pleassee)

Very Perfect! I wasn't expected that they will add hashirama vs madara!
And now finally, I heard Izuna's voice! His voice is very good!
They changed that dead Sasuke's shirt color! hahahahaha

I loved how they added some filler to extend the fight scenes, and that animation they used was good.

I love this episode, adding filler padding is the reason why this episode was great unlike Neji death episode. This episode really makes me like Madara more.

sooooooo damn awesommeeeeeee... total badass episode. animation is awesome. is it izuna or sasuke..? lol they both look alike. i wonder what madara's reaction will be when he see's sasuke in the anime. i mean in the episode. im sure the animators will add something special.

Haha again with neji's death lol you're right tho if they had done it this way it would have been much better.

animation was good. young madara is coooooool. except i dont get why he spazzed at hashi for their brothers losses. hashi went thru the same... derrrr. too bad theres no info on why theyre fighting. filler was good but scenes seemed a little sluggish as usual.
