Another great episode that covered less than 2 chapters, thanks to the addition of some great filler scenes of fighting. It was certainly nice seeing the fight being extended. For example, we got to see Tobirama using a water technique in his fight against Izuna. Adding little things like this are what makes the episode more enjoyable to watch. After all, Tobirama was renowned for his prowess in water techniques so it was great seeing the anime doing some sort of justice to this hype, rofl. That flying thunder god slash scene was done well and tbh that scene was kinda funny since Izuna was literally one-shotted Lol

Hashirama's fight against Madara was pretty good as well. It was pretty crazy seeing Hashirama's Rock Golem and Madara's PS going at each other. I didn't find it that spectacular, just good, but at least we got to see it (this fighting scene wasn't in the manga or rather it was, but it was too short).

I don't really have any complaints for this episode. Maybe except that they could have used a more war-torn like setting, like adding more blood, weapons, bodies or something to the surrounding environment. For some reason, everything looked a bit too "pretty" for war, IMO. Nevertheless, this episode deserves a 4.5/5 because it well exceeded my expectations. The animation was pretty good. Though, the artwork was a little off sometimes and some of the drawings could have been done better. For example, I noticed Hashirama's face appeared younger at times compared to the respective manga panel of the same scene.

Amazing episode, good animation, and most of all, the fight was good. Liked it a lot, 5/5, we're nearing Team 7 reunion. ^^

This time the studio did an excellent job! I loved the fillerish battle, it was so cool and everything was depicted way better than the manga, it seemed more complete in every possible way! 5/5

The anime totally screwed that up.


OT: 2.5/5. Poorly paced, completely ignored the manga and came up with a fight scene that basically copied the VoTE fight and the artwork was inconsistent on unprecedented levels; I hope that following episodes won't take note of this shambles.

No and that's why it was so cool! They even gave some spotlight to Izuna's and Tobirama's fight, superb!

I liked today's episode...Even though I never liked Madara, he did have some qualities...I just don't like that he is such a sore loser.

Madara hadn't "reached the other side" until the VoTE fight, so he shouldn't have had PS yet.
The artwork and animation were all over the place.
The fight scenes were done poorly with pitiful pacing.
