Awesome episode! It was good to see "the darkness" as a part of Kakashi's character (from the ANBU days) before he met Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. 4/5

I really like this arc and it really made grow fond of Kakashi. The best part is that after seeing how much his life had changed because of Obito, now that we return to canon, his shock will be even bigger and more tragic.

Enjoyed it, this episode explained a bit more of why Kakashi was so strict-- he didn't want other teams to perish like his did. I'm a little disappointed that they're going to show team 7 trial AGAIN though.
If you look at the preview of the next episode, you'll see they're reusing scenes from shippuden 257.... Team 7 trial has been shown many times before, I don't see why they're showing it again and are reusing the EXACT scenes.

Nonetheless, I'm pretty satisfied with this "filler" arc that turned out to be canon. (Would have liked a bit more of Itachi, maybe in future filler-canons.)

This is probably my favorite filler arc / cannon in the show so far. Usually I'm frustrated when they take a break in the midst of the action to tell another story, but this is awesome. I think Kakashi is one of the few in the show that has enough character and story to have his own spin off series. I just think it's a bit late to do that now considering how much they've told about him already

I like how they matched the two team 7's with the Minato team. It's a very nice episode, I just don't know how they will show any more of the team 7 than we already knew...I also wanted to see more teen Obito with mask in this arc, but oh well...

I love this episode especially seeing Team Gai training ya all know how much I love Neji character.


- Team Gai Training

- Nice to see Team Minato at their Bell Training

- 3rd Hokage eaves dropping the conversations and Gai just got his pant wet

- Seeing Kakashi fallen into the darkness really brings tension to this character

I completely agree. I already loved Kakashi as a character but this filler has added so much to his backstory that I love him even more now. Also I love how we got to see more from Obito, Itachi, Yamato and even Sushui and Minato through these fillers. It's been great.
