I kinda get where Danzo came from (but i don't approve of course), he was afraid Shisui would use Kotoamatsukami to control everything he wanted. That suspicion was unwarranted though as Shisui genuinly was a good guy. Seeing this, I'm glad Naruto wants to change what a Shinobi is.

I also liked the references of Kagami to Shisui. Clearly a nod towards what we'll be seeing in the anime the coming months.

Finally I'm giving this 5/5. It had a nice balance of action, dialogue and emotion. And the animation was good too.

One of the best fillers they ever made, expands canon pretty good. The only thing I have to point out is that the time frame is wrong...

Itachi is only 5 years older then Sasuke, so 6 years after the Kyuubi attack he would be 11. As far as we know he became Anbu Captain by age of 13. So my guess is that the whole fillers are placed 2-4 years to early, but other than that awesome.

Not gonna say anything about Danzo since his actions were to be expected, obviously. At least his character is consistent. XD

This was a filler, still it bluntly showed that Itachi was on Kakashi's team... Wasn't Itachi something like the commander in chief of the ANBU???
Actually, I never thought that Itachi was something like that despite Kakashi mentioned that he had his own team at age 13...
IMO Itachi had his team but Kakashi was a bit senior... And he only warned the other 3 at there battle against Itachi/Kisame because at that time ANBU were really something to be worry about and to be a captain was extra-ordinary...

Still a great episode...

You can definitely tell that studiot periot have been keeping the best episodes for last.

This week's episode was really good and it gave very good insight on the relationship between itachi and shisui. We also finally got the "fight" beween danzo and shisui (I'm pretty sure this fight will be extended in the shippuden revolution game).

Danzo was shown to be a real prick yet again but you can argue that he is a "true" shinobi.

5/5 for me.

This episode was very solid. All that bothered me was how easy Shisui's eye got ripped out, not to mention how easily he ripped out his own eye. When Itachi ripped out Sasuke's (genjutsu or not) he screamed in agony and panting too, that was realistic and awesome. Shisui hardly gave a f*** lol. Aside from that, great episode.

Eh, filler script writers sure hate Danzo. They use every opportunity to make him look even worse with each episode :|

And yet they made Fu and Torune okay guys :|

The episode was good. But I am confused about Shisui. Itachi said he faked his own death. In this episode he fell down that means he committed suicide. Shisui didn't die from the fall or Itachi was wrong?
