LOL I can Imagine all anime only watchers finally after waiting so long, making that face after hearing his motives and initiation for all that he has done making that exact face.

And yes we know it's not the only reason but we all know how many times where going to see a full screen of rin's face in obito's thoughts.

I enjoyed this episode. but seriously, is it that hard to draw his scars on the right side of his face.
Look at the preview for the next episode, and you'll see that they'll have it on the wrong side next week again :s

When i read your comment i rewatched the preview and saw it i was about to post a rant aimed at the anime makers, but then i decided to look it up in the manga and he has scars there in the manga, he probably got them from the rubble that fell on him after his half was crushed, but those scars healed.

It was alright episode but something feels off not because of the voice acting which I find it suits to Obito but maybe I don't feel the hype.

Maybe they prolong the flashback with filler material that ruin the mood, cause maybe I expect the revealation better in the anime.

I dunno I probably expect too much from this episode so I'll give it a 4/5

It was a great episode , not quite like the epic episodes before but really good !

Every Time that Kakashi is in an episode I enjoy it , he is really a great character !! :kakashi:

I just had 2 main problems :

1) the soundtrack for flashback of obito's childhood was a poor choice , it shouldn't be a funny music , it had a grief in that moment , it should be more serious or somehow a little sad !!

2) Obito's new voice is awful !! the first time that we heard TOBI ( when he spoke to pain and konan and he talked about the true power of sharingan and he vanished in rain ) it was just EPIC !! I told myself this the right voice for a strong villain !! They could have saved this voice for obito and bring another great voice from the start for Madara !! or at least they could have brought a deep great voice for revealed obito as well , but this voice ... this voice is not right !! :nuts:

The episode had eh animation and considering it was a special occasion, that's a little lacklustre.

But the way the flashback was handled...pretty well, the soundtrack really came into it's own. Plus the loud reveal noise when they cut back to the battlefield made the reveal even more shocking that it originally was. Plus Naruto with that mask-shattering rasengan was pretty cool too.

Obito's voice was fine but I need to see a little more of it. Overall, same problems the manga had really- noone really reacts enough, the Rin line is awful and the identity is revealed by showing Obito running down a road instead of actually seeing his face first, which would've been more dramatic.

The only problems with this episode were ones from the actual manga so I can't judge. 4/5. Good work guys.

I liked the episode, animation was pretty meh at some important moments though.
But the voice acting was great, the new Obito voice is awesome.
Not too kin on kid Kakashi's and Obito's voices being changed. they sound too childish for the 13 year olds imo.

5/5 for me, very powerful, emotionally, you could feel what Kakashi was going through in those short moments where he almost faultered.

Back for the Review! This one get's a 4/5 for me, it missed the 5 for mainly the same reason throughout which was voice acting.


Understandable for the current Obito right now to change his voice as him and madara talking and sounding exactly the same would be a little retarded.


But why oh why :nuts: did they change the voice of young obito from kakashi gaiden if the showed the exact same scenes?? His old voice made those scenes and lines so powerful like when he gave kakashi the "scum" speech and his last words under the boulder.


This new voice just sounded like a normal random child voice, his old voice I could always be related as the unique voice of obito even in the games.


It's like they purposely thought a crap he doesn't have a epic voice in the anime any more lets get rid of his epic young voice.


The flashback scenes of obito's life was displayed better in the anime, as expected. And apart from the voice acting the episode was good all round, animation wasn't much of a problem.


I believe this is the last episode of the year guys: Have a good XMAS and New Years guys

TV Tokyo probably did this so the viewer can tell who is talking: Obito and Madara. They're on the same battlefield now. It would be a nuisance if both Uchiha still had the same voice actor.

Great episode , didn't expected them to be quick with Obito's flashback without dialogue I thought that was smart , but screwed up with showing us the Gaiden all over again , we didn't needed that in the manga & we didn't needed in the episode . -1 point , 4/5 episode .
