Brief Warning: This roleplay will be heavily based off of and inspired by cannon knowledge and what we do know of the Second Shinobi war. Though, it will include changes in it. Namely on factions involved and what villages made up said factions.

The shinobi world has once more erupted into chaos and war after the all too brief period of peace the many participants used to lick their wounds. The villages of Sunagakure, Iwagakure, and Kirigakure have all formed a tentative alliance against Konohagakure and Kumogakure, leaving the latter two villages little choice but to begrudgingly form their own alliance. Much to the dismay of Konohagakure, a joint force made up of the Three Villages has managed to cut off Konoha and Kumo from each other. Leaving both sides little choice but to launch duel offensives against this Joint Army which has firmly planted themselves in Yugakure.


The Shinobi of Konoha especially are anxious to defeat this formidable army; Being hammered on all sides with limited allied support if this blockade holds. The Five Great Kages pour what they can into this growing battle, this being one of the most if not the most decisive clash in the war.

You are but a mere Jounin. One out of thousands gathered on this front. Almost every day you either charge head first into the enemies fortified positions or you find yourself staring down brave men and women who do the same. You are able to choose which side you belong to and what specific village on top of that.





Rules and Restrictions:​

The rules for this role play are quite simple:
  • Literacy is appreciated, but english is not everyones first language.
  • Active posting when required to.
  • Be kind to those in the group.
  • Meta-gaming is frowned upon and will not be tolerated.
  • Ignoring restrictions set will not be tolerated.
  • Posting short sentence answers and or lack luster responses will not be tolerated.





The following contains more character customization and can and can not's for character building. Highly suggest you read this section.


Advanced Kekkei Genkai's such as the Mangekyō Sharingan are prohibited from use. A time may come in the role play when a Sharingan wielding Uchiha can unlock it, but only if the manga criteria are met.


Jinton and any variations of the technique will not be allowed for role players. This rule may change as times goes on, but for the start it will be banned.


The Rinnegan, like the Mangekyō Sharingan, is not allowed. And unlikely to ever be allowed.


Mokuton is not restricted outright; But anything beyond the level of what an early shippuden Yamato is capable of is not allowed.


Custom Jutsu Creation, by either players or characters in game is something to be done later on. For now we will stick to the simple techniques that we have a handle on.


You may have only two base Nature Elements and a third Kekkei Genkai; Such as Wind, Water and Ice releases. You may not have three base Nature Elements.


Forbidden Techniques like Edo Tensei, Flying Thunder God, and Death Reaper Seal are banned for obvious reasons.


Each player may choose two A and three B rank ninjutsu, Taijutsu, or Genjutsu techniques to start off with their character. All basic techniques that are below the rank of B and are not clan restricted techniques will be automatically known.



For individual battles between different players; There will not be any gauge on chakra and health. You are urged to use common sense when handling these circumstances. If there is any issues, either myself or another of those who have helped to craft this role play will be there to find a middle ground.


Weapons are allowed as long as they fit the period, obscure as they may be. Though they may not contain any special abilities such as the Seven Swordsmens weapons.



Animal summonings must be treated carefully. Boss summons and fairly large animals must not be a common sight in battle for your rank. Smaller versions of these animals can be used. As well as custom summons, though make sure you request it first before using it.


You have the choice to join one of the two factions; And then make note of what village you hail from. You may not contain a sharingan and be apart of Sunagakure, or have any unique traits from a different village in enemy territory.


For all other Kekkei Genkai's, merely look up on either Narupedia or the NarutoBase site itself and see what nation has what.

You can either make your own character up for this roleplay; Or base yours off of another anime. Using characters who are not dead nor Kages (at this point in time,) is allowed.

When done making a character; Hold off on roleplaying for quite a bit as we get a grasp on who all is joining and ready at the moment to begin.

EXP RULES
This RP will use an Experience Points system. Experience Points, or EXP for short, are what allow you to learn techniques. When you defeat an enemy, or win an event, you gain EXP.

Winning a battle is 50 EXP.
Winning an event is 100 EXP.

Every time your EXP levels raises by 150, you can pick a five new techniques. Once your EXP has gotten to 900, you may pick 3 A-rank or above techniques, and 4 B-rank Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, or Genjutsu.

Once you have gotten to 1200 EXP, you can pick 8 techniques of any rank.

Once you have gained EXP, EDIT your ORIGINAL Bio post and change the EXP number to fit what you have gained. If you have multiple bios, a bio only gets the EXP it got itself. Meaning, if someone has a Hashirama and Tobirama bio, and win a battle with Hashirama, ONLY Hashirama will gain the 50 EXP. If the event or battle permits you can use multiple bios, and you use all the bios you possess, each will get the EXP points of that battle or event.​

Doflamingo was born into the Uchiha clan. Because his father was an Uchiha, and his mother wasn't, Doflamingo is not a pureblood, evident by his blonde instead of black hair. 20 years before the start of the current world war, Doflamingo fled Konoha, leaving behind is Uchiha heritage. After killing the Uchiha spies that were following him, Doflamingo wandered for several years. He eventually found himself in Kumogakure and stumbled upon the kingdom of Dressrosa. Learning that his mother, whose last name was Donquixote, was a member of the Kingdom's royal family, Doflamingo felt like that he was entitled to the throne. He murdered the king, framed his heir, and claimed the throne for himself, becoming the ruler of Dressrosa, and cementing his affiliation with Kumogakure.

The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

Background
Kakuzu is one of the oldest characters in the Shinobi world, Born during or even perhaps before the first Shinobi World village ridiculed him and shamed him for his failure and even imprisoned him. Eventually breaking free of imprisonment War, to the villaige of Takigakure ( Hidden in the Waterfalls) He garnered his way up the Shinobi ranks until the Village Elders found him capable enough to send him to assassinate the first Hokage. Ultimately Failing at this objective the slaughtering the elders that gave him this punishment and stealing the Villages Secret Kinjutsu.... The Earth Grudge Fear. A deadly jutsu that replaces the users insides with threads manipulated by the user into deadly forms and attacks. This also allows the user to store 5 hearts inside them and with mastery can tap into the chakra tubes from these hearts and utilize their elements, allowing him to master all elements and use jutsu from each and every elements.

Personality
Kakuzu has a very unique personality he is one who keeps to himself putting his trust in no one and having faith in nothing and no one except one thing.... Money. He will kill whoever and whatever if there is a bounty attached or money involved. However along with being a usually calm and level headed shinobi one to never let his guard down, He still gets enraged and angry when provoked... However unlike most Shinobi his experience allows him to keep his emotions in-check. He also does not like to put in more effort then the situation requires. All in all his character allows him to fight with vigilance and intelligence that none can match, Along with leading him down a lonely path.

Description: After performing the Snake hand seal the user will channel their chakra throughout their entire body, which then hardens their skin to a steel-like quality. This increases their defensive power to the utmost limits. The user’s skin also becomes much darker, an almost black colour. The destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great, all purpose technique. But this technique when activated leaves the user vulnerable to lightning based techniques.

The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.

The limitation of the technique is that it cannot be used to meld into other types of earth than rock or solid earth and its not a very fast technique, despite being faster than Underground Projection Fish technique.

The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.

Description: Similar to the original, weaker technique, the Greater Ice technique allows the user to, by making a simple hand seal (Ram) produce walls, pillars, etc of snow or ice. The ice constructs are rather simple in nature but resilient and strong, with the user being able to materialize them anywhere short range (though from that point they can grow up to long range) from him from the moisture in the air. He can, however, use any proportional water source within short-long range of him to produce said constructs. These can also be directed and propelled as projectiles towards targets. In both cases, the size and possible uses are limited only by the users will, chakra and skill. It also allows the user to cool down existing moisture in the high atmosphere to bring down a snow storm, similar to the original technique yet stronger and faster acting. This snow storm will not directly harm anyone but is useful to cover the field in snow rather quickly (2 turns) and to hinder visibility, sense of touch and hearing on anyone caught inside. The user is not immune to these effects though and must spend 15 chakra points per turn to sustain the blizzard, while becoming unable to mold other elements than Water, Wind or Ice.

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a 10 chakra consumption per turn penalty

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty
