If you think about it, he wasn't the least bit surprised at Sasuke's answer, and overall pretty collective throughout the whole ordeal, while Kakashi, Sakura and the TB were gasping for air out of shock. Maybe it had something to do with him sensing feelings, and this was something he foresaw based on Sasuke's. He knew Sasuke had a hidden motive, but was waiting for him to bright it to light to take proper action. The big *sigh* and "The sibling rivalry will end here!" response spoke it all, Naruto has the resolve to put Sasuke down, and was prepared to If need be.

I also think that Naruto saw it coming. I mean come on here this is Sasuke we're talking about after all. I knew that when he aid he wanted to become hokage (back when he first joined the allied shinobi forces) That Sasuke haqs an alterior motive granted I didn't know the extent of it. Over all though we all knew the final showdown between Sasuke and Naruto was coming. It's gonna be a close one but Naruto > Sasuke. Kishi couldn't have picked a better time to do this. Now Kakashi and Sakura can't jump in.

WHAT IF Sasuke actually killed naruto at the end and forced everyone to follow his will.
