No there is no basis, plus he used it against Hashirama, and the only time we've seen Madara fight is now, so using the bold as an excuse really isn't wise.

Oonoki asks him why he didn't use his full power, right after seeing PS, and Madara says he doesn't use his full power against children.

Why do people start this thread over and over Naruto and Sasuke will always level up equally.

However what does annoy me is the over hyped Bijuu mode and people who say well Sasuke beat Naruto twice so he can beat him now.

Firstly I'm a Naruto fan but I think Bijuu mode is a little over hyped I mean if it was as good as some people make it he would of beat Obito by now.

However I will say this at this current time Naruto is stronger, think about it Sasuke gained MS, then Naruto gained SM, then Sasuke gained EMS, then Naruto gained KCM and now Naruto has gained BM mode so I can see Sasuke gaining a power up to level out the power again.

Now I agree with a lot of people here EMS is also a little overrated as we've seen nothing special from it, not from Sasuke or Madara who is an experienced EMS user and people saying Sasuke can beat Naruto since he's already beaten him twice are idiots the whole point for Sasuke to win was plot so Naruto could have a goal to aim for and become stronger and since it's getting near the end of the manga I would think Naruto will win the next battle.

Seriously Sasuke fans do you really think he will just beat Naruto and go on to destroy Konoha and kill everyone?

Current times in the manga ems sasuke would put up a fight against BM naruto but the end result would be BM naruto coming out with the win.

any time soon : Naruto=Sasuke
Sasuke is going to be very strong. He'll probably learn a few techniques that could be problematic for Naruto. Naruto is already very strong. But he must also improve.. He will be in no way inferior to Sasuke. The two will fight as equal opponents.

We're all forgetting one important thing. Sasuke is much more experienced in to-the-death battles than Naruto is, as Naruto retains a no-kill policy (the movies aren't canon, so don't go there). Sasuke is willing to kill Naruto, Naruto is thus far saying he is not willing to kill Sasuke. Sasuke is smarter than Naruto both in terms of actual intelligence and in terms of battle tactics. Perfected Susannno presents a huge problem for Naruto, as does the Blaze Release and Amaterasu.

Let's remember some key events in the series:

-Naruto is doing training for nature manipulation. His type is wind. Fire is strong against wind, and Naruto sadly notes that this is his goal, to keep Sasuke's flame going. Remember the circle Yamato shows Naruto? Fire is strong against wind.

-Sasuke hasn't really used EMS that much and he's about to get some power-up from whatever is in this scroll

-The Sharingan can nerf the Nine tails pretty hardcore as we saw with Obito making it his summon, and even Kurama warned Sasuke not to kill Naruto. Why? Kurama thinks that Sasuke could possibly kill Naruto. Kurama knows the power of Sharingan. We see Sasuke suppress Kurama inside Naruto's mind at the start of part 2.

-Sasuke is a lot smarter in battle than Naruto and is willing to kill Naruto, whereas the same is not true. That is a huge advantage even if your opponent is stronger.

Sasuke and Naruto will fight on equal terms. Expecting anything less is ridiculous fanboyism. It's the final battle, if it were a wash in one character's favor it wouldn't be dramatic. Whether Naruto will win or Sasuke will win isn't really relevant. Kishi might not even let us see that. It's unlikely they will really fight to the death anyways.

Making a thread and saying "HURR Naruto > Sasuke becuz the series is called Naruto!!11oneone" is pointless. Naruto has lost plenty of fights and so has Sasuke. The title character doesn't win every fight he's in.

one thing i kinda question is amaterasu catching fire on chakra, like his kyuubi form? like... if he coated his susanoo in amaterasu and naruto kyuubi punches it and hits sasuke, does the flame catch onto the chakra? because then naruto can disperse it and avoid it and reactivate his form again, right? or will it not catch fire? hmm.. its the same as how susanoo coated sasuke and protected him from mei's acid mist.

also, i really hate it when people downplay naruto's intelligence. yeah, hes a bit of a ditz(blonde anyone?) and doesnt grasp verbal concepts well but he is very very VERY deceptive in current battle strategy, he know uses his clones to gain information as seen in kakuzu's case and has continually deceived powerful opponents, kakuzu, zabuza, pain to name a few.
his intelligence in deceptive battle strategy should NOT be downplayed, anybody who does so isn't watch his fights and paying attention.

Sasuke's genjutsu has no effect on a perfect jinjuriki like Naruto.
Naruto BM is fast enough to dodge amaterasu.
rasenshuriken or TBB can destroy susanoo unless Sasuke unlocks the Ultimate susanoo.
