No because he used the repear death seal to seal the kyuubis chakra in naruto which costs the user its life, the 3rd hokage used the same method trying to kill orochimaru

Though when he sealed away the Kyuubi he sealed a part of him along with it in Naruto. But he said when Naruto almost transformed into the nine-tailed that this would be the last time he would restore his seal. So he's pretty much dead ~_~
