Chapter 3: Team 7 vs Naruto-sensei​

At the training field, Naruto Uzumaki had finished explaining the details of the two bells test to the new generation’s Team 7. The same test he went through back then, when he was under Kakashi Hatake’s teachings…

Naruto: Go, Team 7!

Akemi: Hide! Makoto, Isamu! Wait for an opening!

Isamu: Yosh!

Makoto: Let’s go!

The three students scattered in different directions, hiding in the forest around the training field.

Meanwhile, in Naruto’s mind…

Kurama: Nice move they made… Hiding is part of being a ninja!

Naruto (in thoughts): Won’t be worth much, though…

Kurama: I know… At least none did as you did, back then… Knucklehead…

Naruto (in thoughts): Heh… Time to find them!

Back at the training field, the three genin were hidden among the leaves… watching their sensei… waiting for an opening!

Isamu (thinking): What’s he doing? He’s just standing there…

Isamu (thinking): Is that Akemi?

Isamu spotted Akemi hiding under a bush. However, his sensei started moving!

Isamu (thinking): He’s heading towards Akemi! Damn it!

Isamu (thinking): I can’t let him get to her!

Without even thinking twice about what he was about to do, Isamu jumped out from the place he was hiding into the middle of the field.

Isamu (shouting): Hey, you! I’ll fight you head on!

At the same time he was talking, Isamu threw five shuriken at his sensei. However, Naruto avoided them simply by jumping over all of them.

Isamu (thinking): Get out of there, Akemi! I’ll create an opening!

Naruto (thinking): So… It’s you… Isamu… Heh...

Isamu: Let’s start this thing, Sensei!

Naruto: You go first, Isamu!

Isamu: Yosh!

Isamu started making a specific sequence of hand seals. Naruto was watching him, prepared for what was coming.

Isamu (thinking): Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger.

Isamu took a deep breath and then released a massive orb of flames from his mouth.

Isamu: Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu

The massive fire ball was aimed right at Naruto, heading towards him at an enormous speed.

Naruto (in thoughts): Fire Style?

Kurama: This kid… He’s something else!

Naruto (in thoughts): What do you mean?

Kurama: This technique requires more than average chakra reserves and most genin can’t do this technique! This kid…

Naruto: Not bad, Isamu! But…

Isamu: Uh?

Naruto: Wind Style: Vacuum Great Sphere

Naruto took a deep breath and then compressed the entirety of the previously inhaled breath into a single large, crushing sphere of wind released from his mouth. The sphere was about the same size as Isamu’s Fire Ball.

Isamu: Wind Style? But, that won’t work!

Isamu (thinking): What’s he thinking?

The two orbs collided with each other. However, the result wasn’t what Isamu expected to happen, since his Fire Ball was completely extinguished by Naruto’s wind sphere.

Naruto: As a Wind Style user, I have to be prepared to counter my nature’s only weakness… Fire…

Isamu (thinking): I see… vacuum… inside that orb of his… There was no air, so my flames couldn’t keep on burning!

Isamu (thinking): My Sensei is awesome!

Akemi: Did you understand, Makoto?

Makoto: Yes, I did! What’s the plan, then?

Akemi and Makoto are on to something! What could it be?!

-> I'm sorry the chapter only has 1 OST! But, I think I'm going to keep using just a few OST's in each chapter... Like 1-3 per chapter. Besides, an anime episode doesn't play OST's all the time... =D

I only have one thing to say (well two actually, but I'll get to that later on)... Make these chapters longer bro, don't be afraid to let your writing skills come to proper use! At this rate, you will have to write 500 chapters to get this series done XD

And secondly, this very much reminded me of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi, well done recreating that feel. I think I spotted a grammatical error or two, but nothing worth mentioning.

I know they're short, but I just try to create the perfect climax =D There will be longer chapters... In fact, this chapter was longer than the previous two! But yeah, when I reach my first big arc, I will increase the chapter's length. I'll try to have 4 Word Pages for each chapter. This one has 2 and a half, almost 3 XD

And thanks a lot bro! I really tried to bring up some nostalgy on this one! :p

It was? O__o I was just about to add saying this was your shortest one xD For comparison sake, this chapter is about 29 times shorter than my biggest, or even more than that xP

With some proper length, I think this might turn into something good, but as of now, it seems like a rep increase act with ten thousand threads XD xP Not saying you have to make them longer, but a little more wouldn't hurt, just a friendly advise ;) And that is cool I suppose =p

My biggest has 100 pages in word, and that is excluding all the codes and shit xP
Yeah you nailed that part for sure ;) Keep going nonetheless ^_^

Yeah, it was XD rep increase? :( I just wanted to have a slow start... I will make them longer, especially since we're in a middle of a battle... =D

Oh, I don't put the BB codes on word XD I just add them when I upload this =D

Well, if you're going to keep this record, you might as well release three chapters a week ;D Maybe you'll even reach a 100 threads like Reborn (although he wrote pretty lengthy chapters I believe) =p

No problem I suppose =)
