I was wondering what the fanbase thoughts are on a Naruto series after this current one finishes. Now I know what we're all thinking...
But hear me out on this one, I think it would be interesting to make a Naruto in the far future, one where a majority of the current characters are gone. Kind of like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
The fear that most people have is that a new series could feel repetitive, unnecessary, and unoriginal. Kind of like how Dragonball GT was: which many fans complained that it was unworthy of holding the Dragonball name
But if done correctly it could has the potential to be pretty awesome, and with a writer like Kishimoto-I wouldn't doubt it, he definitely has the ability to do it. I know he has expressed no intention of doing so, but hey he could change his mind.
Fans of the first Avatar have generally loved the second series. Even though it feels fresh and original, it still has a solid connection. (if you haven't seen the show before, I highly recommend it
)
So what do ya think? (no hate please, it's just a crazy thought of mine
