My take on the events after the Boruto movie. These are all my ideas, incredibly made up of intense fan fiction, since Kishimoto won't continue the series afterwards nor does he have the balls. You'll understand why soon.
A male tread on a forest path. The light was already fading, creating new shadows and dark patches all around. The wind wailed between distorted trunks, and the male pulled his black coat over to shield his eyes from what flew in its wake. In between moments he would lift his face, letting the light and shadow dance on his skin. He wasn't alone here. He could hear birds whistling in and out of their nests. He smiled at that noise, it was one of the few reminders that he was still in a place similar to his home.
Before he knew it the forests sounds began to slowly dull. It was in fact too quiet. He didn't bother to look around but he moved forward as he pretended to notice nothing. It was soon as he neared a dead end that his pursuers made themselves more known. He turned around slowly as they walked up to him with vague expressions. Cold, white eyes behind their pale skin, wearing a full-length white kimono with a pattern black magatama spaced in a different corner.
"Ōtsutsuki..." He muttered to himself.
"I see, so you know of us? Then that makes things easier. From the looks of you, you are from the Ninth?" He said, coldly and monotonous.
The male said nothing in response, but extended his right hand outwards. Molding chakra to a high concentration in his hand, he would produce electricity with a sound reminiscent to many birds chirping. Chakra, was what he used, but unlike the man from this world, they used chakra differently. Instead of producing elements from the body, or using what was already there. The men called Ōtsutsuki shape, create, and distort elements from space. They are able to give lightning form from above, able to move the earth as if it was water, and could push the air to any intended target all as if the elements bend to their will. It was much different from what he was used to back in his home, much, much different.
The male in the black cloak moved across, shortening the distance between them in only a second. The body flicker technique. These men were not untrained, however, he was a bit faster. He outstretched his hand and pulled it forward to strike a lethal blow to his abdomen. The other Ōtsutsuki who had yet to speak, who was slimmer in size to the other one, moved his hands upward creating a wall of earth. The lightning technique pierced the wall easily, but it halted his movements and held his arm still. They thought he was cornered but it was the exact opposite.
When they moved in to finish the kill the boy closed his hand and the electricity spread outwards. Since his body was already still, he was already in position to use this technique. The stream of electricity which held the same properties as the Chidori, ran across his body and spread over a twenty foot radius. As they were in the vicinity of the technique, the lightning would cause the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time damaging it. This was caused by the electricity disrupting the signals from the nerves, making the muscles contract.
The wall that held his arm broke down from the sheer force of the electricity, and the slimmer male was taken down, and the other Ōtsutsuki tried to distance himself from the Chidori Nagashi.
He began to crawl while his body slowly began to lose all feeling. The male slowly walked towards him, extended his arm again to create another Chidori. As he saw this, and with his body failing to move he began to slowly whimper.
"No! Stop, I'll give you anything! You want something, don't you? Otherwise you wouldn't be this close to the village."
The male smiled, he knew from his first interaction with the Ōtsutsuki that he was a talker unlike his friend over there. Which meant he could abuse that, but he also had to instill fear. The male knocked him unconscious when he got close enough, dealing a moderate blow to the back of the head causing him to faint. The other one whose body would still be feeling the affects of the Chidori Nagashi, however was not so lucky. He pierced his chest in a clean blow, destroying the heart and killing him. He had no room for another prisoner.
Moments passed and the male had strapped the Ōtsutsuki around a tree with rope. It was rather silly, but he wasn't waking up anytime soon, and it would be safer to have him hoisted a few feet around a tree trunk.
He placed his back against a tree as well facing the Ōtsutsuki, waiting for him to awake. It wasn't his first time meeting and facing these beings. He has been fighting them for the past five years. He closed his eyes for a moment. He could still hear the sounds of that day.... when they sacrificed themselves for him.
*Flash back*
Boruto opened his eyes. He stood up, his master's black cloak covering his body, and around him was the same purple satchel that he wore. Containing his notes and data collected over his time journeying these dimensions. Unlike his master, he had no means of teleporting back and forth. The Ōtsutsuki male that he captured slowly began to awake from his nap, and Boruto stood there.
"You're going to tell me one thing, and one thing only."

The sun began to rise off into the distance. A woman sat down facing the glass, tapping her fingers on the desk. A few seconds later someone had knocked, and he let himself in.
"Hokage-sama... The Raikage is at the border again, he is requesting that you both meet face to face. It isn't look good."
"Hmph. Let's meet that damn fool. Kumo... Always pointing fingers, I bet they still feel us as responsible for what happened to their Kage five years ago." She began rise, as she walked towards the door the male noticed her perform the same action she did when she was thinking about something important.
She pushed up her glasses.

*Flash back*
The Kages began to fall in the face of Momoshiki, and Kinshiki. They had underestimated their strength, and powers. Even his father, Naruto, and his master Sasuke were no match with their combined efforts.
"Naruto. It's no use, we won't be able to defeat them." Sasuke said, gasping for air and breathing heavily.
"The Kages are gone already .... Sasuke, I'll hold them off. You and Boruto go, your the only on-" Naruto replied, in the same condition as his rival.
"You'll die the minute I leave."
"Sasuke... He'll die too, if you stay here, ... if we stay here. We have to make a cho-" It was too late.
An explosion went off in between Naruto, and Sasuke sending them flying in opposite directions. Naruto brushed off the immediate damage in his chakra form, while Sasuke absorbed the roughest parts of the attack with a chakra absorption ability. Naruto was the first to move, they knew from experience that the Kurama Avatar and Perfect Susano'o were useless in the face of this being. Like Kaguya, the Goddess they fought years ago, they had powers to break through while utilizing the Byakugan and the Rinnegan together. Making their efforts limited.
Sasuke stretched out his hands, his Rinnegan shining in the light, both the Ōtsutsuki were forced from their spots and flew forward to Sasuke's position. Naruto off into the distance had a Kurama avatar, and a clone. The Kurama clone would go begin to sit down while striking a weird pose, and the real Naruto went back to help Sasuke.
Momoshiki and Kinshiki fought off Sasuke's Rinnegan ability by performing the same Path ability, Sasuke wasted no time in creating the Perfect Susano'o. Even if it was useless in the face of these beings, it was his only way of protecting himself for their counterattack.
Momoshiki put his hand in front as Kinishiki began to move forward, he looked at him ... And he was facing Naruto's direction. But by now it was already too late. The clone disappeared and the Natural Energy that Kurama gathered was already being absorbed into the Kurama Avatar Naruto had already created. Sasuke took this time to surprise them with a horizontal slash of his Perfect Susano'o sword. Not surprising to Sasuke, like previous attempts, Kinshiki had stopped the sword mid-strike. Momoshiki levitated himself upwards while dealing powerful blows to the Perfect Susano'o which began to break it down, sending Sasuke flying backwards.
It wasn't his intention to defeat them, though, he only wanted to provide Naruto with enough time to deal his attack. A senjutsu enhanced Bijuudama was already created, the size of it being on another scale. Naruto fired it off in there direction, and with that Naruto began to yell something unreadable at Sasuke. Before Boruto knew it, Sasuke had appeared before him.
"Kid." Sasuke said.
No! I can't...Dame Oyaji" He yelled back, being naive and ignorant to the situation all together, even after witnessing the Kage's death. He understood what Sasuke intended to do.
The explosion from Naruto's attack hit the surface, and in the midst you could hear Naruto's scream. Telling Sasuke to do it. The attack had failed, but this time they did not remain unscathed. Sasuke created a shadow clone while removing his black cloak and his bag, he quickly placed them around Boruto while the boy began to shed tears.
No, no, no..." He said in tears.
"You did good, as my student. You'll have to find your own way now. Take care of them back home, Boruto." Sasuke's clone took the boy, and in an instant a spacial rift appeared taking them both in. The last thing Boruto saw was his master's face, and in the distance his father fighting against both Momoshiki and Kinshiki.
Eventually Sasuke had teleported him to a safe location. However, Sasuke was not a master at the ability, which is why he never visited home often. The ability sent him in unprecedented locations, but after a while he began to notice a pattern. The Sasuke clone had disappeared in a puff of smoke when the teleportation finished, and Boruto knew that Sasuke had weakened himself just to allow him to escape.
"Stupid dad.....Dad.....DAD!" He yelled in tears.
"Naruto. It's no use, we won't be able to defeat them." Sasuke said, gasping for air and breathing heavily.

"Mada, mada"
His playful, but low voice boomed effortlessly in the wide space. Sitting on Kinshiki's shoulder, the man that Kaguya feared, Momoshiki. An explosion went off in between Naruto, and Sasuke sending them flying in opposite directions.
