Naruto might not fight Sasuke.....here's why....

Most people believe that Naruto vs Sasuke is imminent because of the prediction made by the Great Elder Toad Sage.

"You will fight a man with great power in his eyes"


Well......has it slipped people's notice that Naruto is already doing that?

He is fighting, not one, but TWO people with "great power in their eyes"!

Uchiha Obito and Uchiha Madara

The sage's prediction could mean either one of those two.


Sasuke is nothing like he used to be when he made that promise to fight Naruto first. Meeting Itachi has overwritten his manipulation by Obito. He is seeking guidance to come up with a rational decision for his future actions! When did he ever do that before? Never!

Just ask yourself this....how will a fight between Sasuke and Naruto break the original curse of hatred? Won't it just continue it?

Naruto is destined to bring peace to the world, end the curse of hatred!

I think Naruto vs Sasuke will not happen.

If Naruto vs Sasuke doesn't happen or it isn't a serious to the death fight, the Kishi wasted the entire manga developing Sasuke as a bad guy. Sasuke has been escalating and it would just be a huge dissapointment if Naruto vs Sasuke isn't a serious fight. It would also make Sasuke's entire character pointless.

Its the single most hyped fight in the series so it will happen.

I think he means that Naruto vs Sasuke won't be the final battle to decide the fate of the world. Honestly I don't know, imo that battle must happen. Maybe as a friendly spar, to conclude the series. Kinda like Yami vs Yugi. Naruto will be like, how can I pretend to be hokage if I can't defeat my rival and Sasuke will be like, bring it punk I'll show you true power lol
