A perfect ending for me. Could not be happier. Just got the film to look forward to now.
Also anyone else notice the STraw Hat Pirates logo on Naruto's Hokage Rock face at the end?

700 felt very satisfying as an epilogue, but everything that led to it felt rushed as shit and very yuck.

Review for 699: Wasn't the way that the seals in the monument landed the seal for reconciliation as Iruka had said in a previous chapter? The fact that Naruto and Sasuke landed on top and their blood intermingled is also a kind of foreshadowing that they are alright now, that they have found some peace.
Sasuke needs to grow into the man that he needs to be because he wasn't in a good place (mentally) before. I guess he needs to find his inner peace before he can move on (Sakura). I think he saw how he used to be with Itachi when Sakura asked to go with him, but he knew that right now he needs time. Glad he didn't blow her off completely, and there's a hope for a possible relationship in the future. To Sasuke tapping her forehead like his brother used to do speaks volumes of his feelings. Although he didn't verbally tell her, that gesture is the only form of affection that he has known throughout his life, especially since that was what Itachi used to do to him.
Honestly I doubt this is the end, end. I think this is the end of shippuden and a new era will begin. I mean it's written all over the movie posters and come on you can't end Naruto with Sasuke narrarating! I think Kishi has more story left and the next step is furthering the relationship of all the characters and having Naruto grow up to be Hokage under Kakashi's tutelage.
I'm a big Kakashi fan so I'm sooo happy that he is Hokage, and it's just like him to still wear the same jonin uniform like everyone else. I liked how he even said that he is sticking out his neck for Sasuke and he ,as their sensei, can see them back to how they used to be.
I'm also glad that they are using some of Hashirama's cells for the prosthetics instead of some jutsu or Sakura somehow miraculously being able to regenerate new limbs or something. Does anyone think that Tsunade is getting help from Orochimaru for this? So many questions left unanswered so I truly believe that this is not the final end to the entire world of Naruto.
Review for 700: ok so I apologize I didn't see 700 posted yet, my phone was acting weird. I guess if this is the end I'm ok with it. All of their kids growing up!!! Still a lot of questions left but oh well. Glad to see it all worked out in the end

It tore me up to see some of the characters growing old and feeble. ;-;
The last page of chapter 700 made me tear up bad. I can't believe the series is over. 15 years!
