Yep, had to reread the chapter to be sure. Naruto made 3 clones, of which 2 were destroyed. One (clone or naruto) tripped and caused a hole in the ground. Does any of this remind anyone of a past battle that Naruto had? Great art work and great storyline. 5/5

I think in next chapter the Naruto that Sasuke going to pierce might be a shadow clone. I don't think kakashi and Sakura coming to valey of the end. even if they come they willbe late. Plus they don't know where they headed. Fight was good. Less flash backs. Has any one noticed the head of staues gone. I'm pretty sure they will replace the head with Sasuke's and Naruto's. 4/5.

it means that Naruto now knows FTG. . Just think how powerful and cool would be 10 sage mode Narutos throwing kunais and just popping around anywhere Instantly (like minato's shunshin v' 2 against Toby only multipled by 10 and more powerful). But maybe it's already to late for this, the fight looks close to it's end :'(

I was sold at the Uzumaki Barrage. This chapter is exactly what I want. Taijutsu, taijutsu, and more taijutsu. And the anime will surely bring these scenes to life, and add a little spice to it. I enjoyed this one. This is my first 5/5 in a while, and it's fully deserved.

Chapter 697: Naruto & Sasuke IV
After some disappointments with past chapters, this chapter solved the issues.
What Kishi destroyed in 3 chapters, in 1 chapter solves everything.
Sasuke made a huge explosion with his jutsu, Indra's Arrow, but for what? He didn't do anything good, just to hurt himself. When he hit the ground, I said...ok, that's the END!
It appears that Hashirama and Madara weren't an inspiration to Sasuke, the statues are now headless! Damn you, Sasuke! One of the best shinobi of the world, and you cut their head off.
I see Naruto beating Sasuke with his fists, but the fight continues and Sasuke hits back.
This fight is like a box match from はじめの一歩 (Hajime no Ippo) ENG; Fighting Spirit.
Sakura has awaken. Huh...nothing that matters. This Final Fight will be one-one, neither Kakashi or Sakura will involve in this fight. If they do, we can say that Kishimoto destroyed the whole manga.
In the end of this chapter, Sasuke has the upper hand because he had extracted from Naruto all his chakra with his Rinnegan. Probably, Kyuubi will help Naruto?
Next chapter will BE decisive. Who will win: Sasuke or Naruto?

Are you delusional? Pretty sure the whole chapter was them going hit for hit, yet Sasuke "mopped the floor" with Naruto? And you're telling a whole fan base to cry based on something none of us know yet. I don't care if you have your theory on how Sasuke's going to win, but why can't you (along with most Sasuke fans) do it in a respectable, nonfoolish manner? Or is that asking to much?

Anyway, I believe, mainly because of the last, that Naruto might just grab the chidori, much like he did with Kabuto.

I don't have time to pop Naruto 1 tail beast out of you and every Narutard mouth in the world then pick your up and wipe Naruto chakra off your lips, cause your can pay attention and see the clues that Naruto saga is not ending.

It's going to be a revolution and you should understand that, if you read and understood the Toad Sage conversation with Jiraiya, cause it was clearly stated and in this revolution Naruto will lead the ninja world to true peace.

So how is it a revolution if Sasuke is not victorious at the end. Sasuke is the only 1 who can release the genjutsu on the world alone (Naruto need Sasuke to release it). Sasuke have a idea for the future and resolve for his idea, so it won't be no TNJ on him.

Naruto don't have any ideas for the future and only resolve he have is the same as last time he lost (bring Sasuke back to the village). This revolution will set Naruto up with perspective and a idea for true peace and then he will defeat Sasuke 1 on 1.

Also 39 year old Kishimoto have left million of personal clues that he not done taking these Narutards money and have no plan on stopping (this is just the end of this arc and on to the next money train for Kishi).

By the way Kishi had to make them Exhausted and low on chakra in this 1 on 1 fight other wise Naruto can't compete in taijutsu with Sasuke (it wasn't even a taijutsu fight for real, it was a bar brawl). But Sasuke still was trashing Naruto and his clones and the extra help ninjutsu from Kurama.
