ok. this was a dope set up chapter, not a lot of action.. but progressed the plot into it's final phase. im gonna try and break it down:

1) SasuSaku is probably going to happen in all likelihood. He was gentle enough just to use a genjutsu on her and did any one see his leg shake and the look on his face before he hit her with it? Also when kakashi was explaining to sasuke how much sakura loved him, Sasuke thought about his family... the only thing he has ever been shown to love. Hmmmmm

2) them racing to the valley of the end... feels anticlimactic. Naruto is going to put the beats on this n*gga sasuke. Even though the Sage gave them equal shares of his power, Naruto was stronger than Sasuke ever since he obtained BSM. Sasuke wasn't able to scratch Kaguya, and Naruto was landing successful blows. Also, i have never heard naruto sound this calm/cocky before: he knows without a doubt that he is stronger than sasuke. However sasuke has one Ace in the Hole...

3) The jutsu the hashirama gave Sasuke to seal Madara's sage mode. Sasuke is going to use it to seal Naruto's senjutsu. Now THIS evens the playing field tremendously.

4) This is going to be a dope fight. The funny thing is, I agree with all of Sasuke's ideals... but his way of going about them is questionable. It upsets me that he really didnt think twice about killing Naruto, the only other person other than Sakura that truly LOVES him. Can you really be that selfish? Naruto is so naive and stupid that Sasuke probably could have negotiated with him and still got everything he wanted... but NO, Sasuke mad, so Sasuke kill. wtf is wrong this guy man?

Interesting thought, I agree I think sasuke's trying to "itachi" Naruto & be the villain he thinks he needs. If you payed close attention to sasuke's face throughout the dialogue of this arc, you can see the concern on his face whenever Naruto speaks or is mentioned by someone else. Maybe there's something he wants Naruto to realize before he took on the role of hokage. It would be fitting that way.

Funny. In Part 1, Kakashi did taught Sakura on genjutsu; and she could undo the genjutsu during Chuunin Exam.
Sasuke with many face masks. His decision keep on changing...-destroy Konoha, kill Kages, kill people that he dislike, etc...
Hagoromo separated his power into 2 - Naruto & Sasuke. And letting Naruto to hold the Key.

Even if it was real, Naruto can save her with his crazy power. But it will waste Naruto Chakra and might affect the fight. But I guess it is fine. I would if Naruto will win or Sasuke. Cause it might be Naruto win and Sasuke decided to help Naruto due to some reason or Naruto loses and but still get convinced by Naruto to listen to him.

Sasuke is definitely strong. He was holding back his power from the beginning. Pain was having trouble dealing with one Bijuu while Sasuke pwned all of them with a glance and did 9 Chibaku Tensei like its nothing. He calls Naruto to fight elsewhere for a reason (SO HE CAN GO ALL OUT)

do you think sasuke's the only one to learn something new? the only one with a new power? maybe you dont because you'd be wrong.

So happy of the way sasuke looked in this chap, had everybody at bay even SO6P. But where did he get all this chakra from after all the battle that took place. FOR naruto I hope kishi give us something epic, like the way naruto recognized sasuke's genjutsu and stood his ground unlike b4 when he always seems surprised when he see's new or strong jutsu.

S**T IS GETTING REAL!

First off, I TOTALLY THOUGHT SASUKE KILLED SAKURA. And honestly I wish he did, then Naruto would be fueled by anger and crap would start flying everywhere... BUT Kishi thought Sakura was too important to the "plot" I guess that it was just a genjutsu.

And also, bye bye all you SaruSaku people. It's over. Maybe.. Probably.

I give it a 5. I know everyone wants to get to the action, but some of this talk was necessary for the progression of the story. They staked out their sides, know where each other stand and are good to go. Hopefully next week we get to the action.

I think Naruto has finally realized TNJ is not going to work this time. You can't TNJ someone who wants to kill you. I used to think that deep down that Sasuke had feelings for Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi but I'm not so sure of that anymore. I think there is still too much hatred in his heart to have room for any other emotions. Why put her under genjutsu? Why not just be honest and say I don't have feelings for you and I haven't given you much thought since I left the village?

Sasuke has not grown emotionally at all since Itachi killed the clan. I think his emotions are still tied up by his clan's decimation, the manipulation he went through by Oro, Itachi and Obito and having to deal with the fact that Itachi was not the monster he thought he was. I think he feels a lot of guilt for having killed Itachi and is trying to make up for it somehow by fixing the system that caused Itachi to feel he had no choice but to kill his clan.

Instead he has just transferred the hatred he had for Itachi to Naruto and the village system. He's arrogant, selfish and immature. He has never acknowledged anyone but himself and will not be willing to listen to anyone else until he is shown that he is not as powerful as he thinks he is. Unfortunately, Naruto is going to have to humble him.

Naruto might have said he and Sasuke are not Ashura and Indra, but Sasuke is Indra and apparently still thinks power is everything. I think when he told Naruto he'll teach him what his idea of a kage was he meant that he'll teach him by beating the shit out of him and by out strategizing him. He hasn't realized that just as he held back so did Naruto. Naruto did not show all of his cards either. Naruto might have been happy that Sasuke joined them on the battlefield but he was not happy with his attitude or of many of his actions.

I think Naruto has been wary of him and realized he hasn't changed at all. Since power is the only thing Sasuke respects, Naruto will have to show him just how powerful he has become. I think he's finally determined to do just that. I'm calling a draw where they are both so bruised, battered and weakened that they don't even have enough chakra left to kill each other because Sasuke finally realizes that every time he gets up so will Naruto.
