[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 680 Discussion and 681 Predictions

I liked this chapter compared to last week, ever since the sage of six paths showed up in this story it has just been stupid. Naruto can pretty much do anything including float??? and why has sasuke not done anything except be able to see madara "shadows". He has only been doing what he usually do.

Sakura character development is just awful and Kishimoto is making her the worse most selfish character in the Narutoverse.

Sakura after understanding that what Sasuke quoted to Naruto is 100% right, she then proceed to thank Naruto anyway (like thank Naruto for thinking I am more important than the whole human race). Even Hinata figure she would sacrifice herself to protect Naruto if needed and Neji did sacrifice himself to protect Naruto, cause he is the key to victory (this ego maniac Sakura don't care about no one but herself). Instead Kishi miss out on a opportunity to have Sakura tell Naruto in the future to not try to save her and focus on defeating Kaguya and save everyone from being turn into Zetsu's. But no Kishi make her even worse a person, than she already was (now I want her to die).

Then you have Kishi try to justified why Naruto is still the most stupid character in the manga ( this guy is nothing more than a stupider Kiba, juice up on tail beast Steroids), by having him compare Sasuke saving him when they were 12 to now (I don't think the whole world was going to be doom, if Sasuke die at the time).

What sense will it make for Sasuke to save Sakura and Kakashi (how about we put Obito on the list to) and let Naruto fall into the lava pit. Then knowing after that he can't seal Kaguya cause he only have the yin side to the seal and then along with everyone in the world, she kill all four of them anyway (this is why I now hate Naruto character, cause he have also have no development, even in this war), Sasuke did the only thing he could and should have done, for the greater good of the whole world now and when he slam down to protect Naruto within Susanoo, cause knowing at the time that they are the only one's able to seal Madara and save everyone.

Oh! To think that Kishi is pushing Sakura deep down. NO.
There will be 1 of the main character will get kick down very badly.
But, in the ending, this character will shine brightly.
This is very usual in most story.

*Flips a table* ARRRRRGH!!!! I can't take any more of this Sakura bullshit! Ok Kishi, you either need to make her actually be useful with these upgrades you are giving her, or 1) kill her off, 2) put her out of the picture more. She obviously won't be able to catch-up with Naruto and Sasuke now, but to be fair no one can. So then at least give her chances where she doesn't need to be saved (what a concept) or can do something to actually show she is Tsunade's disciple by showing how her training has made her badass and not the annoying character he keeps her being. I'm honestly not a huge Sakura fan, but this is getting ridiculous! Give the character an actual chance to show growth and change, not moments of potential only to be taken away a couple of panels later.

The only things I can see to redeem her character [kinda] would be to either kill her off, have her completely give up on Sasuke and not end up with Naruto (because I always get a brother sister vibe from them even if Naruto sees it differently) and goes and becomes like Jiraiya traveling around. Or, and I think somebody said this, but maybe have her be tied to Kaguya in some way. I don't know just SOMETHING!

But leaving the rant aside, I'm looking forward to seeing how this battle between Naruto, Sasuke, and Kaguya is going to go. And how much of the story is left. It just seems like it will be another 100 chapters before we start getting close to the end of the battle.

Is it just me or naruto now is making bunshins without handseals?

It's not just you (Kishimoto don't have time for hand signs), do they do hand signs in bleach or DBZ, cause that what Kishi is copying now, while he totally ruin his manga legacy.

If Kishi show Naruto to use hand seal, then the chapters will be very long & boring.
What was shown, best not to repeat.

Does sasuke's hawk lives in another planet?cause it didn't get effected by It. That's the only vurious thing I have ever found in this chapter

Just like Kakashi 8 pet dogs.

Nothing really happened in the chapter. It's just Kaguya preaching how chakra will be one again. 3/5

In the very last page of the latest chapter, Naruto gave Sasuke his opening to attack Kaguya. Although I can't really tell if sasuke manage to strike Kaguya thrust her into the magma or not. I'll leave it as a no because it did say "Collision" thus implying she did not get caught so I'll remain as a no until proven otherwise. People need to keep in mind that Kaguya has a byakugan 360 vision and 10KM+ Radius so I can assume Kaguya forsee the Incoming attack thus she'll do something to either prevent it by dodging or counter attack.

Her only Blindspot is located right behind the neck, but the Susanoo is too big to be unnoticeable so in other word Kaguya can easily notice Sasuke attack.


There's many opportunities for Kaguya to go but I suspect her next move is the Heavenly Rotation as it was mention considering to be one of the strongest defence in the Naruto Verse.

OT: Not much happen except Naruto being NaruJesus still being immature as usual while I like sasuke because he always stays true about himself. Love seeing how the Byakugan played in this chapter.

Being one of the main characters means a lot of expectations from us readers. I pitty Sakura for being included to that roster yet Kishi keeps on showing her incompetence even with a power up. I like Sakura but I hate how Kishi delivers the character's development as a major character.

Chapter was okay ...

Hate how Sakura is the only one who can't seem to take care of herself ...I mean she would have just needed her own kunai and rod and she could have pulled it off like Kakashi did but of course she gets saved AGAIN... Kishi is definitely overdoing this whole guys save the girls thing ! Please just let her stand her ground for once!

Lots of foreshadowing done at least in my opinion...
Sakura losing her forehead protector - is always a sign in my OP

Sakura losing her's -> Power up, cutting hair scene, decides to get stronger
Sasuke losing his -> leaves Konoha, goes his dark path
Neji losing his -> shortly before he died
Kishi puts a lot of meaning in them ..

I agree that Sakura's headband coming off and falling in the lava was foreshadowing something. I forgot that happened with Neji.

OT of course Naruto can float.

Sasuke points out that it's only coincidence that Sakura and Kakashi are not caught in the genjutsu. And he has to protect Naruto because it will take both of them to defeat Kaguya. Just in case Naruto has been having some kind of delusional friendship fantasy again.

Naruto is the master of emotional manipulation: he knows how to use it better than anyone. It never hurts to throw in a little TNJ at every opportunity. The bridge reference was pretty good even for Naruto.

Yeah, my balls tingled a bit when I saw him rushing in. Not even Naruto and Sasuke rush Kaguya straight forward like Hiruzen is on his way to. He probably sad he has to solo a women.

You mean the Hiruzen that couldn't even defeat Orochimaru?

It was an ok chapter one thing i liked was Naruto's ability to fly must be du to one of the Tailed Beast.. Forgot which one has that ability i think it's the gaint beetle looking one. Also Sasuke being a team player and acknowledging it will take both to defeat the enemy.None the less i expected a lil more but next week should be pretty good.
